Hey Guys :wave2:

I have missed you all a lot. I hope you don't think I was just deserting all of you. I have been thinking of all of you and hoping that things are well within your lives. As I believe PW has been updating you guys a little bit, but I will try to fill in the long blanks in my absence :)

Long story which resulted in me needing to move ASAP!!! Today I moved the last of my belongings. Finally have the internet again, so hopefully I will be able to post with you guys more often, although I am still extremely busy...working and school full time...sigh...I am tired just thinking about my schedule!

Things with "work guy" are beyond wonderful!!!!!

Don't have time to go into every single thing right now....I know I know...I am sure you all miss my ridiculously long date posts...hehehe...but just a tad of a report for the V-day I had.

He got me this nice perfume set of Cool Water for Women (he had previously mentioned how much he really like it on women) but wasn't sure if I would, so told me I could have exchanged it for a scent I liked, but this one was very nice. Plus he got me this little glass rose figurine. It is about 2 inches high with gold leaves and is on a round mirror base. Unfortunately I had to work V-day night, but he had the day planned!!! He took me on a beach picnic, and had this special spot picked out for us already. We had a nice lunch, and dessert consisted of fruit with chocolate dipping sauce!! Spent the morning/afternoon there, then I had work, but he then made me dinner for when I came home from work. Candlelite, romantic music, and a wonderful dinner of grilled marinated chicken, veggies, and this rice blend!! ***sigh***

OK so I hate to run, but this was the one day I have had off in a very long time, and have plans to go out with the girls from work to this restaurant/bar/live music place. "Work guy" will be meeting me there later tonight when he gets off! ;)

Oh and just in case anyone was wondering since my last update was just on our "first" kiss (although that was about a month ago almost)....well let me put it this way...I don't think he is as shy as I first thought.....I think it was all an act!!! ;)

I was just telling PW in an IM, I am so into him!!! At first I thought he was nice looking and whatnot...but now I am thinking I was blind, b/c he is HOT!!! I was saying how we were at this park feeding ducks on Thursday and they had some pull up bars there, and he jumped up to play on one and do some pull ups (not to show off, just playing) and was making them look so easy (I don't think I can do one!) and he was doing one armed pull ups....I was thinking..."ummm yeah, this freaking hot guy right here doing the one armed pull ups, yeah, he is MINE!!!!" :teeth:

Hi Disney845:wave2: Good to hear from you. Glad things are going so well with work guy. He sounds like a romantic- and that's a big plus in my book.

my best friend here recently has become very into cyclying with her husband - I rarely see them any more. Any one have any suggestions on how to find females that a single? Maybe I should be asking the men on the thread. ;) Maybe I'll just go see a movie by myself...
Sorry, TigerBear!! If I were there, I'd go with you to see a movie. :) Most of my friends are married also. I hardly ever see them. And I pretty much see one and that's it! We get together at her house once a month with some other ladies for...scrapbooking! :earseek: When did this happen? It's like...one step short of knitting! :earseek: I need some single female friends also. The other day someone asked me if my friends were taking me out to lunch for my birthday...NO! My Florida friends don't do that! They're more like guy relationships...we plan something and do it. They aren't here for support and chatting.

Same here. Well, I only have one friend here in town. But, all of my girlfriend relationships are like guy relationships. But, then after reading a book on male/female communication styles, I realized that I communicate like a man! :earseek: So, what do I expect? Not that I wouldn't love to have a girly friendship, but I just wasn't brought up to actually share emotions, etc., so it doesn't come naturally. Sad, really... although, strangely, I've had no problems with emotional intimacy w/boyfriends. In that case, I'm quite the talker!

TB -- I was looking at match.com the other day and noticed that you can do a "friend" search. Not sure that's actually what it's used for, but hey you might give it a try. :teeth:

And I have to say that seeing her once a month for this is questionable as a "friend" visit since I pay her a fee for attending! LOL! Not quite the same as just spending an evening scrapbooking together. It's her income. Yes, she's really good at it and is a Close to my Heart consultant. She knows her stuff when I'm stuck for ideas.

I know most if not all of my friends are married. They feel "guilty" leaving their husbands to go out, so I do things mostly on my own.

Thanks, y'all. Yesterday was such a beautiful day that I took Mr. Tramp to the park. Walking 3 miles really made me feel better. Last night I rented a Sex and the City DVD - the beginning of season 3. I don't have cable, so I have never watched it before. I really enjoyed it!

Disney, your man sounds amazing. I am so happy for you! :D

You'll never believe what happened to me this morning! I got a MATCH!!! And he's only 30 miles away from me. Only 7 years older instead of 8 like my last date. At least the age difference is decreasing. But (and there's always a but  ) the question that asks what are you most passionate about he put that he is very passionate about his sex life and sports.:crazy2:
It's a turn off to me when they mention sex first thing. And sports-I know I put that I had zero interest in sports. And he spends his leisure time in a physical activity like golf, swimming, biking, running- none of which I do. I have sedentary leisure time. :teeth: But I am starting to go for walks. I thought they would match you with a similar person????
So, I'm not sure what to do with this guy. It seems like you can send him more questions without signing up. Is that true?

Great show. I love it! Sad to see it end:(
Glad you are feeling better. It would be great if we all lived close so we could do things together.
I joined a women's support group at my church when I was going through my divorce several years ago. The majority in the group were also going through a divorce at the time. We have all kept in contact and still do stuff together. It's great to see how people's lives have progressed from the sadness of divorce, to dating again, engagements, and remarriages. The majority of the group has remarried. I am very close to one of the still single girls but her kids are older and then I have a gf without kids who is now going through a divorce. Usually I have to get a sitter to go out with friends and that gets expensive. The best scenario for a friend is for her to be single and have DD the same age as mine so we could do a lot of things together. So a lot of the time it is just me and DD. It does get lonely.

LOL! His passions? :scared: :duck: Amazing they put that stuff in. It would be a big turn off for me also. Golf? LOL! I can't stand golf...and I've had a couple respond who play. I wondered the same thing...don't they try to match interests? If I remember correctly, you have to pay before you can respond. Good luck, Legs! :)

Hey, what's wrong with being passionate about sex? :p Just kidding. Although it is one of the most important aspects of a relationship, I can't imagine placing it on a "passion's list". What was he thinking? Just be careful Legs.

Thought y'all might enjoy this: my ex ended up joining match and in his profile he put that he wants someone "who brings her own libido". Well, after my current relationship, I definitely know the problem had absolutely nothing to do with my libido. :p ;)

I've talked to my dective guy on the phone twice now, an hour each time. Didn't sound the way that I expected though. (his voice that is). We do seem to have a lot in common though. We'll see where it goes.

I did buy a new cellphone yesterday. My new toy. It's so small, I need to be careful that I don't lose it.

Did you expect a deeper voice? :smooth:

Those phones are getting unbelievably small, aren't they!

Totally. This is pathetic on two levels at least... (1) that sex and sports are the best things he can come up with to be passionate about  , and (2) that he really thinks a woman is going to be impressed by that! Read -- obviously doesn't know what women want

Too much mention of physical activity turns me off, too. I'm willing to try golf, or go see my guy play football or whatever, but when that's ALL of your interests...

it's going to get old, and I am obviously not going to keep up.

Hey all, sorry I haven't posted in a few days been busy. Went out of town for the weekend with some family. We went shopping! Woo-Hoo! :bounce: I love to shop! Too bad I don't have more money! LOL :rotfl: Did get some great deals though. JCPenny's had 75% off. Woo-Hoo!! Got 2 pairs of pants for $4.77 each! and a shirt for $2.77! I also got a pair of Ralph Lauren Polo "jeans" but they are black for $11.56!!! They are $60 pants! I love bargains! I don't think I ever buy clothes at regular prices. If I do it must be a great items, a must have.

Anyway, TB~ I know how you feel about the single friends thing, all my friends are either married, or dating & if they are single they are always busy! Sometimes I feel like I don't have anyone who would have a ear to lend.:listen: I had a rough night last night, had a very bad dream. I had a dream that I was stuck at my ex's wedding and I had to speak at it for some reason or another. AHHH! & I couldn't get out, I was trying and I made a big scene. It was terrible. I just cried uncontrollably, and when I woke up I cried too.

I think you all should try Yahoo Personals I think I am getting more match's then you all are. Of course I have recently decided that I am not sure I want to pursue anything, but it is always good to look. & I haven't joined yet, but I have talked to a few people. I am putting off paying them any $$$ till I feel like it. I'm cheap what can I say. I don't have a lot of $$ so I tend not to be able to spend any. :)

Jen~ Wishing you better luck next time for Super Millionaire.

Hope everyone is well.

Good morning. :sunny:

Oh goodness, 5:30 came way too quick this morning. Guess that is what I get for last minute late night homework huh? Oh well. 2 days left till my WDWCP Presentation. Woo-Hoo!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :jumping3: :jumping4:

mickeysdsnyprncs...I see you can teach me how to shop. How come I never find those deals at Penny's? :earseek:
