Well things with "friend" are going well....ok more than well...they are pretty damn good!!!!

In fact I don't think "friend" is the best term to use any longer...but can think of none other at the moment!

So aside from getting sick from drinking (I hated beer before, and I still hate beer, NO MORE BEER!!) and REALLY bruising and scraping my knucles (can you believe they still ache, and are slightly swollen) I had an AWESOME time on Thursday night...and can not wait till Wednesday! (our schedules are weird, so we can usually only get together during mid-week)

If you want it a little more specific lets just say that I woke up on Saturday morning and my chin was peeling...it took me the LONGEST time to figure out that it was stubble burn!!

WELL this is it for me for tonight unless I must do some work later, then I'll be back in here. other wise I'll be around at 7 am or so, then getting other things done, no packing yet sooon very soon. enjoy the moon and stars maybee tommorrow night I get to see them.

Thanks for the pixie dust everyone! H-o-P, I love your suggestion about the Christmas party. In reality I have until May to defend, but if I want my co-chair to stay on my committee I have to do it before this semester since she is leaving the university. I thought I was all-clear since she had agreed to work with me even after she leaves. Basically, its not her decision to make.

Thanks!! Saturday morning was actually the worst of it. Some crying...but that was also mixed emotions about other things. Spent the rest of the day with friends until 11:30 p.m. Thank God for friends!! Right Vicki? Yesterday I was back at the same friend's home in the afternoon into the evening. Yesterday was okay...which was the actual day. And today is back to normal...YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Let's hear it for normalcy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to ff326, I have A/C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ladies...I highly recommend his advice if you have an A/C problem. The house was up to 82. It's now 80 degrees and feels like the deep freeze in comparison.

It is so quiet tonight.....

I got called into work tonight, on my day off.....I am soooo tired...plus my throat still hurts!!!

Working tomorrow...working Wednesday...and then....it is Wed. Night!!!!

Took the day off and made it a lazy day. DD even noticed I didn't dress for work, no make-up and I didn't do my hair. And yes I did go out in public this way. Ran errands from one side of town to the other. Planned on grading papers, but did you know you can't grade papers while taking a cat nap. Did get some graded and working on a major project for my darlings now. This way they know that I missed them today.
