Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

Octopus.... Not sure if I would like that. What kind of texture does it have?

PW: :wizard: for Richard! It is to be expected that he is taking time to adjust. He just needs time, he be fine.

::MinnieMo :wizard: on the certs!

I love soft sheets! I should get some. :)

Oh I am so tired. I need a day to myself. Be a while before that happens. Ugh. Oh well. It is all for a good reason.

Serena: I am 21 yrs old. But most of my friends are atleast 4 or 5 yrs older than me. And I tend to date guy atleast 4 yrs older than I am. Never really found a guy that I liked closer to my age.

TB! LOVE THE PIC!!! ::yes:: Mr. Tramp is a beautiful dog.

Gotta run. Class.
Bye!

Thanks, MDP. I'll pass it along to DS. :)

My husband was 5 years older than me. That's the typical thing, isn't it? Women mature sooner than men so we hook up with those a bit older. :) However, now I'm looking for one my age or a couple years younger. LOL! Interesting how that happens at some point.

I imagine octopus would be chewy. Maybe I am thinking of conch.

PW- Good luck with getting a guy in that age range. All I seem to get are the older ones.
My XH was a year younger than me.

I've had octopus before. It's pretty rubbery.

I took the parental units to Epcot on Saturday, but I did not see FLminnie (is that good? :) ). Anyway, I'm not sure if they enjoyed it. They keep on complaining about the price of moo goo gai pan at the Nine Dragons Restaurant. "$13.95 for moo goo gai pan? I can get it cheaper someplace else!" I don't even know if they liked Epcot. I asked them if they did and they gave me a funny look. That's one reason I don't like to vacation with the parental units. They either don't like what I do or they go to places like NYC and end up hanging around Chinatown all the time. Come on, there's other neat stuff in NYC, but they just want to buy cheap tofu at Chinatown. Sigh...

Didn't see you there Barry. Was able to ride Mission to Space which they seemed to have toned down. Walked right on with the singles line.

I booked for a 3 day cruise in July! I'm happy. I wanted an inside room since that's what we usually book with, but they didn't have any so I was forced to go with a verenda. It'll be my fifth time cruising with Disney, but my first verenda. Brianna's happy b/c this is her B-day treat. She's excited about going playing with the kids and I'm excited about relaxing with no kids. Can't wait to go to Castaway Cay to Serenity Bay to just sit in the water and relax with a drink in my hand! That image will get me through to the rest of this school year! Now to go to work to pay for all these trips!

That sounds a little disappointing Barry. :( Did they enjoy the resort? I guess I am lucky. My mom absolutely loves going anywhere. She's easy. :p

FM, the cruise sounds marvelous!!

::MinnieMo : The cruise sounds awesome! And it is good to try a new kind of room, it's kinda like trying a new resort. Anyway, i hope you have fun! Too bad when you are going to be in Greenbay I will be in FL, but I am a Bears fan anyway, i wouldn't want to get trampled on up there. LOL Those people get crazy!

Barry:  I have relatives like that. No matter what you do it isn't good enough. Infact I know a lot of people like that. Just know you tried. What did they think of the resort? I've never been there but it always looks so nice. I'm surprised it was epcot they didn't like, did they like anything? WEll I hope you had fun anyway.

The last guy I dated was 8 yrs older than me. But I think that would have to be my cut off, and it depends on the guy. I met this one guy he was 30 i think but he acted like he was 15, I don't like that.

Have a good day everyone! :wizard:

Thanks, Legs! :teeth: Funny how when you get in your 40s, those individual numbers can make a huge difference. ;)

Sorry about the parental units...LOL...Barry. I would hope they would be appreciative no matter what it was. :( If it were me, I would have been... :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :teeth:

My upper end of ages for dating is decreasing. Ha ha! :earseek:

I don't know what my mom liked. I asked her what she liked at Epcot and she gave me a funny look. I took them on Mission: Space and it was a big mistake. We ended up riding slow rides for the rest of the day. I almost fell asleep in the France movie! My dad snoozed in the American Adventure. :)

BTW, Mission: Space does seem a little toned down. Is it just me? :)

I rode Mission Space in Jan. It was very realsitic. But, I felt like 'yuck' after that. If that was toned down, I'd hate to experience the regular version. I'll never go on that ride again. But I love the speed of Test Track! :teeth:

FLM: If they had cat. 11 pricing on that 3 day, I would consider going. I don't want to pay that amount of money for 2 full days. Disney is so darn expensive in the summer! No wonder why I sailed in October! For a little more money I can do a 7 day western in the fall season.

Congrats on the cruise, Suzanne! :Pinkbounc

I got flowers today...from a guy! :teeth: OK, so it was my realtor in Florida! LOL! Absolutely beautiful...Bird of Paradise, crocuses, and other tropical looking ones. He made my day! :) Just saying "thanks again" for the business. :)

Oooo pretty.

Barry, I'm sorry. My dad slept through a lot too.

PW....But it was flowers from a guy. Your still one step ahead of me!:p

Since I'm unable to go cruising in the off-season this is a big treat for me. It's actually cheaper than other cruiselines, b/c I thought I would have to go on a another cruiseline, which Brianna was all against that idea.

If it's the only time you can go then this is a great opportunity for the two of you. (Do they ever let you take off during the school year?) I loved the Disney Cruise I went on. I know others are cheaper but I would miss the special Disney touches.
Is this Disney cruise really cheaper than other 3 day cruises?

It was cheaper than the other two cruiselines I was looking at taking this summer. Hard to believe.

The time that I get off during the school year is high season also. I don't have any days that are low season. I do get a couple of personal days, but using them to head up to Green Bay this year! :teeth: But I do get the two months off in the summer to play. And I'll be playing a lot this summer with!

That sounds like so much fun FL::MinnieMo . I wish I could go on a DCL trip, but I guess that'll have to wait. But it's ok i won't miss out on the whole disney experience.

PW: I was on the phone with my friend Matt when I read your post about the flowers, and i was like "I want flowers" (he didn't know I was reading something) and he was like where'd that comefrom, are you asking me for flowers? I laughed amd I was like no, but if you want to get them for me I won't mind. :)

Speaking of Matt, he is a really nice guy. Not my typical type, but he is cool to hang out with. We are just friends but the other day it entered my mind that maybe it could be more. The only thing stopping me right now is that I am pursuing something with my ex, but I am starting to get stressed out over that. And i am not sure if i want to put myself through the pain anymore. I decided that if I don't get some real answers to the questions i have on friday (the next day i will see him) then I am done playing games. I have an illness related to the nervous system, and stress. (which he know about, my ex that is) And I feel that he is still dragging me through the mud on this whole thing.

Anyway, on a lighter note, Matt and I hung out (is that right???) for most of the day yesterday. We had lunch and then just talked for a good 4 or 5 hours. It was really nice, and I was actually in a good mood pretty much all day. I didn't think about my ex and I wasn't depressed about anything. It was a great feeling. It has been so long since I felt that way I almost forgot what it was like. Matt and I talk almost everyday, if I don't see him we talk on the phone.

Note to self:
Ok ok enough babbling Karen. ::yes::

Ok going to class now. I'm sure i will have more to talk about later. :)
