Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

I really hope I get that job. In my mind, I feel like I already got the job. I'm going to be really disappointed if I didn't:(

Crossing fingers, toes, eyes, and nose here for you, Legs! Saying a prayer, too! :)

Ever ask a girl out and it just goes over her head? It happened to me today. I asked a girl I liked who lives in a city I hope to move to (not for her, but a job :) ). I asked her what good apartments were in her area. I also asked if there were no good apartments, if I could sleep under her window and sing love songs to her on my mandolin. :) She told me about the apartments, but no comments on the love songs. I asked her if she was sure she wouldn't let me sleep under her window and it went over her head again! I give up. :(

Suzanne & PW- Thanks for crossing everything!:D

Where's that resume PW??
Don't you have an interview today?

Barry- I think you scared her:teeth:

FLM- What time of year do the elementary age kids take the FCAT?

Good luck to both of you.. :)

Barry? You probably did scare her. What was she supposed to say? She probably didn't know how to answer.

Legs & PW - lots of good thoughts and pixie dust coming your way for job hunting success!! :D

Barry, in my book you didn't ask this woman out. Asking a woman out is saying, "Would you like to go (insert activity) sometime?". Women do not like it when men come on too strong.

So has anyone heard from Doc lately?

:wizard: for PW and Legs on the job search!

Barry: i don't know that I would have known what to say either.

Yeah I wonder how Doc is doing. Hmmm. We miss you Doc!!! ::yes::

As for me. Ugh. I just wish I could go to FL already!. Matt is really cool. But his emotions move kinda fast. I don't know if I am ready for something like that yet. When I say emtions, he respects me and doesn't "try" anything but I can tell in the way he talks and his actions that he is the type to get attached really easily. I keep reminding him that I am leaving in 4 months, and I will be gone for awhile.

My mom yesterday, she was so funny. She was like you have to come back from FL. You can go through the WDWCP again and then if you like it you can stay but you have to come back! She told me to even ask my landlord (a friend of the family) if i can pay him a partial amount of rent to keep the place and keep my stuff here. :) I don't know I haven't decided yet.

Well, she does know me and my sense of humor, but it looks like I failed again. :(

Barry: Maybe she just didn't expect that. My friends and some guys I have been interested in have done that to me, and I just didn't know how to react. So i don't usually say anything. I dunno but here's a  for you.

Barry- She probably didn't know how to answer that! I think it would have been better to ask her out on an actual date. Then you would know if she didn't answer or said no. Maybe it sounded like you were coming on too strong before you even went on a date with her.

Wasn't Doc going on vacation?

MDP- Moms never want you to leave. My mom is so excited that I'm moving back home after being gone for 22 years!

mickey, your momma loves you and wants you close by. :)

Barry, maybe you just give up too easily. Have you joked with her in that way before?
My suggestion, not that you asked, would be to use that as a starting place for a date. Next time you see her, and make it soon, sort of laugh and say something along the lines of "well, no moonlight serendades, how about lunch or a movie sometime?" She will have to answer that. One way or another.

You're welcome for crossing everything. :teeth:

LOL! Resume is in process. What a project! I was debating about getting back to it tonight. Tomorrow with DS at school might be better. I need to find the papers with keywords their computer will select and make sure I get those in.

Yup, that "interview" actually an informational type of thing. I suppose it was worth it. But I'm NOT a salesperson! No, I don't want to become a financial planner. I actually even stayed open to the idea until he said that in the first year or two, we would be working 50 or 60 hours a week! :earseek: Ummmmmm...I don't think so! Not as a single mom!!! If anything, I'm looking to cut hours, not increase them!

Thanks for the well wishes on the job search. I'll be soooooooooooooo happy when that resume is done! :faint:

PW...is your resume done yet? Need to get it done today. Nag! Nag! Nag!;)

My grades are all current and I have no papers to grade. Oh my, I don't know what to do with myself now!
