When I try to make Starbucks coffee or even Dunkin Donuts at home, I can NEVER get it to taste the same. And now that I've found the sugar-free vanilla latte (they now have sugar-free hazelnut also,) I've given up DD! LOL! It tastes yucky and bland to me. I ended up at Starbucks...twice. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I need to buy stock in that company!!

Haven't started revising the resume yet. I did go to Kinko's to use the internet and print the job I'm interested in. The description has all kinds of details they're looking to be included in your resume. Much easier than trying to go back and forth between revising in Word and AOL to check what they want. That would be even more time consuming. I'll start on it shortly. Now that I've had 2 lattes, I'm WIDE AWAKE! Finishing a couple thank-you notes to my realtors first. They've been real gems!!! Both of them so knowledgable, helpful, and genuinely nice people! Having lunch with my VA realtor on Monday.

Being without my main computer and PRINTER stinks! That caused the trip to Kinko's. Hmmm...$2 and change for using it 3 minutes and printing 6 pages. I should rent out my computer! LOL! But when I disconnected it all in FL, one wire was stuck somewhere and I ripped it. I NEED A COMPUTER GEEK TO RECONNECT EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! Eek! This laptop is getting old. I want my computer back!

Well, a few hours have passed- is the resume done?
You ripped a wire?! That's the pits.

Had a nice time in Melbourne seeing my brother. Went to lunch then hung out at the pool. Now that he is getting a divorce, he showed me his wedding pictures from August. He looked so happy in the photos. Too bad she turned out to be a loser.
He also showed me photos of where he was in Iraq such as Fallujah (sp?), Baghdad, and his camp called Dreamland. The Iraqi's would launch mortors over the camp walls and would end up not too far from where they slept and worked. Then a unit would have to go look for them and detonate them if they didn't explode. He said you heard explosions all the time.

I live around the corner from a Starbucks but never go. Actually I drive by two of them going to and from work. If I drink Starbucks, it's because I made it at home. But, I do go to the icecream store that's next to the Starbucks.

I've never had Japenese steak but I do love those Benihana type places. And I do love the sushi.

MDP- That was good telling the ex not to call anymore!

FLM- Did you see/smell the perfume flowers in France? Have fun at the hockey game.

No, it's not done. Where did this evening go? What did I do? I chased and yelled at the dog for messing up in the house. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...made me wash their beds. I just finished two thank-you notes. LOL! What else did I do? I have NO clue! I better get to that resume!!! I'll start it now and will do nothing else tomorrow.

Wow! I can't imagine what your brother has gone through over there! That's incredible and such a shame they need to do it. Bless him!!!

Is anyone else having a lazy day? I cannot get going! I have things to do, but I'm not moving. Just finished my first cup of coffee.

Helped Richard write his poem for class. Ha! Has to be a poem in the shape of something. He finally decided on a chocolate chip cookie. He got his protractor out and made a huge circle on his paper. Then wrote about four lines. Ha! I said...that's it? He said yes, the obnoxious kid, Kevin, who sits behind him asked how many lines it had to be. So Richard's is short and sweet. Apparently, they went over poetry before he started school here. And apparently, he didn't go over poetry yet in FL. The joys of relocation!

Yes, I have a million and one things to do. Instead I am laying on the couch and eating junk food while dd is with her dad. I did manage to wash dd's clothes and go to church this morning. I just can't seem to get anything done with this house!!!

I was possibly going to try a Disney cruise next summer and I just saw the Magic may be sailing in California all next summer

LOL! Isn't it the pitts when just that is a major accomplishment? Sometimes I feel like a load of laundry is just a fantastic thing to accomplish! Two loads? I need a medal.

Leggs...that's why we are going to try a different cruiseline next year. Said the same thing this year and look where it got me though!

Lots going on and I think it all caught up to me last night. Came home from the afternoon hockey game and literally passed out on the couch from exhaustion. So I ended up going to bed at nine. Can't remember the last time I did that! I did manage getting one load of laundry done. So I did accomplish somthing last night! Also did grocery shopping. WEnt to Sam's club and bought 5 pounds of peanut butter. I"m still debating if we are going to be eating that much. I guess I'll see!

Peanut butter is one of my "red light" foods. I can't even have a nibble or I'll eat the jar. LOL! Some things I just have to stay away from.

Where do the days go? It's time to pick up DS from school before I know it. Dropped him off just before 8. Went to the post office, stopped at Starbucks then went home for a bit. Took the pups for a walk, read the 6 page job description I printed at Kinkos the other day, went and got a new cell phone with VA number since I didn't like the $125 bill on my FL phone!...Cingular is not in this area. Switched to Sprint. Then home to play with the cell phone. LOL! I think they should standardize them all! Then I looked at the clock and it was 2:50! Off to pick him up. Sheesh! HAVE to do that resume tonight, and I want to unpack some boxes since tomorrow is garbage day. Oh! Had lunch with my realtor friend. She's such a nice lady. She's still pointing me in the direction of things. Here I am. LOL! I think it will be another 2 a.m. evening.

I got 6 lbs. of peanut butter from Publix (two of the 3 lb containers). It was buy 1, get 1 free. Great deal. DD eats lots of pb.
