Nice to be home! How much can we embarass our kids? That IS our main job, right? :teeth:

Found out this afternoon from the doc that I'm pretty much confined to home and the sofa.

But she called and told me that while Richard and I were at Walmart to pick up a few things..ie, food!

Richard said he could hear my doctor on my cell even with it by my ear. So he heard her say I'm to stay home until things she's looking for to happen do.

Okay...still need food in the house though! So I told Richard he better find one of those little motorized carts for me to ride down the aisles. :laughing:

He said he would tell everyone I'm 60 years old. LOL! I said...gee, I look great for my age, don't I? :laughing:

No motorized cart availble, so ended up with the WHEELCHAIR! :rotfl2:

Me in the seat with the attached basket behind, and Richard pushing me. :rotfl2:

And he thought HE was embarassed! :eek:

And thanks for the good thoughts, everyone.

Keep them coming...still need them!!!!

Thanks for the congrats on the job everyone. I officially accepted today. It is less pay and benefits than I have now but I cannot stay where I am because my boss is a blankety blank. I looked into transfering to another dept. in the same company but all that was available were the jobs that required you to work weekends and holidays and I am way over that deal.

Ended up back at the hospital today for them to redraw blood. Apparently, the nurse in the hospital used the WRONG TUBE for one of them. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It was okay though...good to get out of the house. Things must be desperate if I'm enjoying a trip to the hospital lab!!!

I told them today that I was leaving and my last day was Aug 26.
I feel soooooo darn good right now......it's unbelievable. It's like a weight has been lifted from me :cloud9:

I am so glad I'm getting out of there!

Glad you're looking forward to the new job, Legs!

I'm ready to go back to work! Three days on the sofa (for the most part) is enough. I'm definitely feeling like a pin cushion.

Actually looking forward to seeing the doctor on Monday...hoping for some good word. Even if levels of one med are up enough to decrease the blood thinner.

SSB was LOL so very hard about this... too, too funny!!!

Glad to hear well, leggs, and also to read updates on our friends here. Long-o story for SSB as well.... with much hurt o' the heart, but we know how that goes... and the MIA part... but so glad to see that looks like all doing pretty well.

I had "fun" :rolleyes:

yesterday. Went to one of my future-sister-in-law's bridal showers. I was told that it was going to be with all her friends. Just the bridal shower showed up with their moms. So I was a bit confused. The fun part was that we got to bottle wine and I took two bottles home. I just couldn't believe on how "different" my perspective on things are from them. They kept talking about how wonderful it is to get so many presents from everybody. They went on and on and on and on about this. I"m confused, but I never thought that as a reason to get married. :confused3

When the owner was going over some very interesting things, the "girls" were in back talking to each other. The maid of honor interuppted him and asked him when we were going to start bottling the wine. :rolleyes1

As we were leaving we were told about another bridal shower next month. I am NOT going to that. I already have a nice little black dress ready to go for the wedding. :earboy2:

Oh and dbf isn't going with me and I feel like doing this :badpc:
