Okay, I laughed when I wasn't supposed to....

This lady was walking in front of me today and she kind of slid on something and fell. But she did this whole acrobatic thing and landed on garbage bags. Honestly, the first thing I did was to run over and see if she was okay. She was, but she did not find anything funny. Now when I knew she was okay, I couldn't hold it in. I had to turn around and start walking before she saw the tears in my eyes from holding in laughter! (she didn't see me laughing)

I know it's immature, but you had to see it happen!! And I've fallen before in front of a lot of people, and I always laugh at myself, so it doesn't bother me if other people laugh.

Why can't I control myself?

LOL! I ocassionally laugh when I see someone fall, especially if its a family member. We're a teasy kind of family, so I know no one will be upset if I laugh.

I think I laugh hardest if its myself though. Last autumn, right after 9/11, everyone was so uptight and upset, and I kind of lightened up the mood for everyone when I fell on a homeless person RIGHT ON HIS LAP! I was laughing so hard I was crying, as was the homeless person, as were the people on the street.

I did feel the need to go home and take a shower afterward....

It IS funny when people fall down! Well, as long as they're okay. My friend and I once took a job at DQ. She was taking out someone's order (a few hamburgers and some fries) and on her way out she slipped on a wet spot and fell on her but and the burgers and fries went flying in the air. It was SOOOOOO hilarious. Once I helped her up with both just laughed histaricly

Then once DH and I were in the parking lot of the grocery store. We were walking into the store as some guy was coming out. He tripped over a speed bump and almost kissed the ground. He got up and looked around to see if anyone saw and hurried away quickly. DH and I just laughed so hard all through the store

Then last winter we went to the grocery store (so many falls happen at a grocery store) and there was ice in the parking lot. I was pregnant then and DH and I were so concerned about ME falling on the ice that he wasn't worried about himself falling on the ice. As soon as he stepped out of the car he started sliding...and just as soon as he finally got himself steady on his feet he took another step and started sliding again. He never actually fell, but it was just SO funny watching him sliding around like that

I would have laughed too. If I had fallen, or if I had seen it. Like today when I reached for something at the grocery store and several others fell on the floor too. The "older" ladies that saw it thought it was funny that's for sure.

Oh I have a story!! First off I didn't laugh...my dad was ROTFLHAO!!

Okay we are in Washington D.C. and going by Taxi to the Orleans House to eat. So the traffic is bumper to bumper and our cab driver (Who doesn't speak a word of English) pulls up in front of another cab in the opposite lane. The other cab is still moving and our cab driver honks the horn and motions for the other cab driver to let him over. Well the other cab driver looks over at our cab driver, waves, and smashes into the car in front of him. My dad and John busted out laughing.....it was obvious no one was hurt but still......I was so embarassed! The two of them were laughing so hard. Our cab driver just smiled and kept going...didn't pull over or anything!
