Does anyone think there is any chance of regular 70th entertainment (Paint the Night, etc.) coming back the two weeks between Halloween being done and Christmas starting? I have a friend who wants to go with me on one of my trips this year and I want them to see all these offerings, but the best time for them to go is the second week of November!

I know no one can really tell me, but maybe someone can think of a reason why or why not? Thanks!

The biggest reason why not is that Disney has been cutting entertainment across both parks.

There is a possibility that PTN will still be shown nightly, during both the Halloween and Christmas time. As they did have both during Christmas during the 60th, or so that is what has been stated by others. I see no reason why they shouldn't have the parade during the Halloween season, as Disneyland doesn't have a Halloween parade. The biggest obstacle to PTN during Christmas is that the Frozen float is too tall for the garlands they hang on Main Street.

Ah poop. I was looking forward to all the 70th entertainment options, but I'm not going until September 😅

Here is another Plan Disney answer: https://plandisney.disney.go.com/qu...ary-paint-night-hoping-during-holiday-602205/

I like the way you think, and I agree that making the most of your time at The Happiest Place on Earth is a great plan! The 70th Anniversary Celebration is going to be a very special time to visit the Disneyland Resort this year, and the Holidays will be equally magical. Unfortunately, these celebrations won't have a calendar overlap.

Paint the Night is scheduled to appear during the 70th Anniversary Celebration beginning May 16th and continuing through the summer. When Halloween and the holidays begin, some parades do pause to make way for the holiday-themed ones. Paint the Night is not likely to appear on Main Street, U.S.A., when A Christmas Fantasy Parade is scheduled.

Most other media, including Visit Anaheim, says,

“Wondrous Journeys” nighttime spectacular and “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade will temporarily pause to make way for seasonal Halloween and Holidays entertainment offerings, then resume at a later time.

Neither site says Paint the Night will pause for Halloween. However, the PTN dining package ends on August 21. Halloween Time starts on August 22.
