Okay - I admit it..

It's so beautiful today I have been bitten by the spring fever bug.. Tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer (possibly as high as 70) so I'm going to do the unthinkable - go spend the weekend at the lake the first weekend in April!!

Sunday would have been my 29th anniversary too and I think I'd like to spend the day where it's peaceful, calm, and relaxing..

Can't get my cable turned on that soon though - and I doubt I'll even be able to get one channel on the tv without it - so look for me on the boards.. Luckily the phone company can have the internet service and non-seasonal telephone service all set up for me by the time I get there tomorrow..

Also a good way to test out my new mini van..

I live in upstate NY and I have a place (seasonal) at a lake up in the Adirondack Mountains.. I hope to move up there for the season around April 17th and stay until at least November 1st.. It's nothing fancy - very small - but suits me fine.. I also have an extra lot next-door where my DD, her DH and my DGD spend their weekends in their travel trailer..

To live year round? I think you will really enjoy it there - although there tends to be quite a bit of traffic during race track season..

Have fun exploring the area - and don't forget to take a jaunt up to Lake George.. Lots to see and do there..

Yes to live year round! We know we need to find all the back roads escape routes for July and August! I will definitely be checking out Lake George. I can't wait!

IF you get really bored and want to try
the way I get a couple of channels up here in the mountains when cable goes out

Add aluminum foil to the Tv antenna

I have been known to extend the antenna witha wire coat hanger and than add some foil

can normally get one or two channels that way

Enjoy the new van, and the serene beauty of your lake house. It's been in the 60's here all week as well, the girls are actually hunting for shorts as we speak! To bad they dont remember they both had 2 size growth spurts this winter
