There will be two of us the first few nights, 5 of us for the latter part of trip. Staying at Polynesian. We've done Jiko, family chose Sanaa over Boma.

10/25 - Me and Micky arrive. Magic Kingdom and dinner at Skipper Canteen 6:30
10/26 - Epcot and then Halloween party at night (no table service today)
10/27 - Animal Kingdom and dinner at Ohana 8:45
10/28 - Breakfast at The Wave, Hollywood Studios for a few hours, brother arrives, dinner at Disney Springs - Homecoming 6:30 - Magic Kingdom at night
10/29 - Magic Kingdom for a while, it closes at 7, 2 sisters arrive, dinner at California Grill 7:30
10/30 - Epcot - Future World rides, Food/Wine, dinner at Chef de Frances 6:00, Magic Kingdom at night, with extra magic hours at Magic Kingdom
10/31 - Animal Kingdom, dinner at Sanaa 5:30 - back to Animal Kingdom for night stuff
11/1 - Magic Kingdom, dinner at Boathouse 7:00 .
11/2 - Breakfast at Kona Cafe Hollywood Studios for ToT, then finish our trip with rides and eating around the world at Epcot until close. no sit down dinner.
11/3 - fly home and get the nut brothers!!! (our cats :) )

Looks good?

We liked Sanaa more than Boma, and it seems like you're well-timed to catch some views of the animals before sunset.

Now I'm waffling...we seem to have some similar restaurants (chicken, fish, steaks, etc.) - California Grill, Boathouse, Homecoming...what do you all think of swapping out Boathouse for Morimoto Asia?

My only comment is that you planned a dinner at Chef de France on a Food & Wine day. It depends how much you sample, but we never want a big meal after a few hours at F&W.

Other than that, your plan looks good to me. Hope you have a great trip. :)

Looks good to me. I don't consider California Grill and Boathouse to be that similar. Definitely keep Homecoming; it's awesome. Morimoto is really good too. If you are going for sushi, the sushi is better at Morimoto than California Grill. However, the sushi at Morimoto is good, but it's not the best thing on the menu.

I can't comment on Boathouse but we did Morimoto Asia in October and we all really liked it. My watch outs would be that it took a LONG time. We aren't used to meals that last 2 hours more or less. The food was great though. Also if you are on the DDP, it's 2 credits for dinner and there are exclusions. I ended up paying OOP for a short rib app and we were even on the DxDDP. That irked me a little, mainly because it was already a pricey meal, credits wise.

I've had lunch at the Boathouse and the food was OK but I didn't think it was anything special. I haven't dined at Morimoto or Homecoming so far. Ohana can be hit or miss. I've had one good meal there, but another with seemingly indifferent and inattentive service and the food wasn't nearly as good the second time either. It's all a gamble depending on who is working that day. I don't feel that California Grill is a good value for its price, but it's popular so others must enjoy it. Skipper Canteen, The Wave, and Kona Café are all excellent choices.

@JerseyJanice - thanks! We share our food/wine snacks throughout the day - I'm a light eater while walking around, so I'm usually hungry for dinner!

@soniam -thanks! I was gravitating towards the spare ribs and the ramen! And the duck fried rice...yum.

you meals are your preference and look good - but honestly you are hopping back and forth across the Disney universe a tremendous amount on some of those days... try to tweak a plan that minimizes the need to travel so much and wastes less time.

Thanks. I don't think we are hopping too much - what days were you thinking?
The only day looks like 10/28, but we are staying at Polynesian, so breakfast at The Wave, then to DHS for a while, probably back at hotel by 2:30 or so to welcome my brother. Then off to Disney Springs for dinner and end the night at Magic Kingdom just walking around?

When we go to the morning parks, we rarely stay past 2 or 3, always go back to hotel for swimming/relaxing.

I see. We rarely take mid day breaks like that so just a different touring style. Hope you have a great trip!

Boathouse is probably the only meal I would change on your list... Ragland Road or Bongos would be fun alternates.

Sooooo, saw my family yesterday.

Boathouse in for everyone. And my brother just wants to eat at bars/take out windows the night he arrives at Disney Springs, so we are saying goodbye to Homecoming. That's okay, Micky and I will go eat at Big Jones here in Chicago - great southern food!

But on the bright side, now Micky and I have added The Wave for a late lunch on our Epcot AM EMH and Halloween party day! Epcot in the morning for rides in Future World/stroll through showcase (two other days planned for eating), late lunch, relax at Poly pool, head to party about 6 for fun and snacking!
