I put my tickets on hold. She said if I buy them, they will issue me an e ticket, and I need to bring my id and credit card to the gate to get my boarding pass. She said to take my confirmation that they will send me to the skycapps with my luggage, and they will check in my luggage and then i just go straight to the gate with my credit card and id. Do I have that right?

Also, if I decide I want paper tickets, will they send them to me if I ask, or can I go to a ticket agent near me and get them?

I don't know what I'm doing!!!!!

thanks for all your help!!

It's been my experience that e tickets are very convenient, and checking my bags with the sky cap has never gotten me a lost bag. You probably don't need a paper ticket. e ticket travel is faster, you don't have to stand in line, just check your bags outside at the sky cap and pass right on through, check in at the eticket computer and proceed on to your gate. If you have a problem, talk to a ticketing agent at that time. You will probably love it! We have e tickets for Sept 13 YIPPEE!!!!!!!!

Don't forget the tip to the SKY CAP!!!!
I am also going on the 13th, only 16 day, 15 hours and 51 mins.

Etickets are great. We have used them many times. Our last trip however, they could not find our ressies for our flight home and I had to show them our confirmation slip you get via email. Even then, they had to pull our our frequent flier numbers and then translate those into ticket numbers. Weird, but then again, every thing with our last flight with Delta was weird.

Next time, I will ask for paper tickets, just to cover all bases.

I personally don't like paper tickets. If you lose them it gets VERY expensive very quickly. If I have a choice I go with e-tickets.

If you got what you think is a good rate buy it. Putting a ticket on hold does NOT normally guarantee the rate so if airfares increase then your ticket will also.
