Okay admit it do you wear a rain poncho when ????

My DW does.

Come on. Getting wet is half the fun. Heaven forbit her hair get messed up at WDW.:smooth:

I dont care about the hair!!!!
It's the wet jean shorts that dont dry the entire day !
This trip NO JEAN SHORTS!!!!
Have a disney day
:umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Because we go early in December and it can be downright cold if you get your clothes wet on a cool Decemebr morning and I don't like be cold and shivering half a day while they dry.::yes:: :wave2:

Depends...if it's above 70 degrees, no way!! If it's chilly, absolutely. Although I did wear one on KRR once and got completely drenched. Hand the hands up and about 4 gallons of water went right down the neck!

No way! What's the fun of going on a water ride and not getting wet! I feel cheated if I get off of a water ride without getting soaked. I usually wear light cotton shorts or capris that dry fast if I know I'm going on a super soaker ride like Kali. :)

We did once when it was rather cold out and didn't want to miss the ride.

We don't. However, we always bring clothing and shoes to change into. Even for Splash-- because you just never know.

We stay away from the water rides if it's cool outside at Disney. However, when we go to Universal, I embarass my family by wearing one on rides. Seems like everything is wet at Islands!

Nope! We like to get wet on those rides. And if we don't feel like getting wet, what's the point of going on?

kali rapids "YES".. last time i was drenched (GLAD I HAD IT ON AS WAS MY FAMILY who griped but glad they did after)
the people in the oppsites seat didnt have one on.. and they laughed at me when i got wet..
the next splash they were drenched no ponchos for them.. tehee!!:D

I must say I do wear a poncho on Kali, but never on Splash Mountain. I don't think I've ever gotten all that wet on Splash?! Maybe I'm just really lucky!!::yes::

No way- the main reason to ride those things is to get wet. :) Well, not as much for Splash, but definately Kali. Once, my friends and I went to Universal. Even though it was drizzly and rainly, we rode Popeye's rafts twice in a row and got soaked! We rode with a couple wearing ponchos and we taunted them. "Cheaters!" hehe. When we passed the water guns, my friend Jillian shouted, "get the ones in the ponchos!"

But yeah- if it's too cold and you still want to experience the ride, I suppose ponchos would be smart.

Not usually, but did when my DH and I did Kali River recently and especially when we did Splash Mt during the MNSSHP. The CMs made fun of us for "using protection". :teeth: Better safe than sorry!

As my daughter says...practice safe eating...always use condiments. ::yes::

T&B

Splash Mountain --- no

Rapids -- yes

The Rapids is just tooo drenching, miserable, sticky, wet.

I usually do on Splash and have not even attempted Kali. I love Splash because of the theming and I was a huge America Sings fan, so I love seeing all the characters that remind me of that show. I do not like the feeling of being wet in my clothes, especially shorts, so I don't have a problem putting a poncho on!
