I'm not a real big fan of Winter. But, ice is the one thing I really detest and fear. Cinlee, I'm afraid you're going to have to keep this storm. We've had a rough enough time this winter. Stay safe and watch out for the dreaded "black ice".

It was Sleeting very hard earlier!! I went to Wal-Mart to get groceries and it got very loud in there. In just 15 minutes my whole lawn became white. Looks like it may actually get bad this time. The good new is this is Texas and the weather will change in the blink of an eye!!

Just heard on the radio that what we are having now - sleet coming through and lasting 5 to 10 minutes - is nothing like we will be getting this evening and through tonight. Yuck!!

Getting a little worried right now because DS has not made it home from school. He drives and is about 35 minutes late

Errr...it took me an hour to get home today. We went out to eat and the restraunt we were at is only 6 miles from here!!! It started sleeting while we were there and it only sleeted for a little bit but that was enough to get the ice started. Right now its...I don't know whether to call it sleet or ice...whatever it is, it's pea-sized and it's coming down fast and hard! Snow I can take...ice on the other hand is a pain! Why can't it just be snow???

I think we've had every imagiable kind of weather in the past few days. Thursday and Friday it was stormy and rainy, Saturday was pretty nice and calm, yesterday it was chilly and way windy and now today sleet, ice, snow, rain...all at the same time.

Maybe I will start bragging about our weather. That way we can get some more seasonal weather down here. So send me some SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it snowed here, it would be a definite miracle. Last time we had snow was Christmas 1989. We had a grand total of about a 1/2 an inch. To warm down here for the month of February.

Yeah, I have to go over that 121 overpass too...that's the main reason it took so long to get home. Its baaaaaaaaaad out there.

DStar4cup - Yes, he made it home thanks. The 121 bypass and the bridge of Lake Lewisville they are saying is really bad. DH is in Dallas and he said it was just raining there. It's crazy. They said Ice Storm Warning south of here and we are under a Winter Storm Warning.

I just went to the grocery store just to make sure I had plenty of food in case the kids are home tomorrow.

My son isn't home yet I'm not to worried yet since I did see the major backups in the Lewisville area but I will feel alot better when he gets here!! My husband is coming home from Frisco.
