My friend is getting married May 29th (this year) and they haven't planned a honeymoon yet. I just convinced them to go to Disney!!

So here's what they gave me - and they asked me to run with it & give them a plan & a price (as much as I can).

They'd like to stay at Port Orleans - French Quarter (5/29 to 6/6)

Monday 5/30 - late morning flight into MCO...relax at resort & dinner somewhere (not in the parks)
Tues - Disney
Wed - Disney
Thurs - Universal
Friday - Universal
Saturday - Disney
Sunday Disney
Monday - check out & leave mid-late afternoon

So they only need 4 days of tickets, but they want to add on the Magic Plus Option to give them options for the water parks/PI, etc.

So if anyone wants to give it a shot....tell me what you'd tell them!Any and all opinions are welcome! Just keep in mind they are definitely in a time crunch. They're gonna have to make their ressies really soon.

TIA!!

Hi Kim,

Well, the first thing I'd tell them is to get in touch with a WDW specialist travel agent ASAP!

Arriving at WDW on Memorial Day with no plan will not result in the best overall experience. And it's hard for anyone on this board to help without more specific details on their likes and dislikes.

Between Memorial Day crowds and the following weekend's Gay Days crowds they should have an itinerary planned out before they leave or they will spend way too much time in line for attractions and waiting to eat at restaurants.

Again, I'd have them get in touch with an expert TA on Thursday if possible.

Good luck,

Bob

If this is their first trip to WDW, I'd ditch Universal. The WDW tickets will cost just a bit more for 2 more days of pure fun. They should remember that they are on their honeymoon, they don't need to run around like crazy.

Thanks for the advice...anyone else got any to share?

skip animal kingdom---park too samll to get the $ worth....tell them to get a suite so they can RELAX!! And NOT try to plan to do ALL the parks & stay there ALL day /night long...go back to the hotel & have fun... I think they should do either WDW OR UNivversal---not BOTH! TOO MUCH in 1 trip!
