OK, who got the upgrade...

That's weid that they would upgrade an adjoining room. What if you booked the two rooms because you had 5 kids, so it was the same family spread between the two rooms?

My sister & I had booked a cat 11, and we were upgraded at the port to a cat 5. A supervisor checked us in, and asked us if we'd like to have the cabin next to my parent's (they had a cat 5 aft, our cat 11 was forward). Pretty good deal, a 4 night cat 5 for $399/pp.

On our first 3 day we were upgraded from a Cat 3 one bedroom to the Cat 1 Roy Disney Suite. What a treat.

When we got bumped from cat. 11 to 8 we had booked at the last minute also. This time we did it in advance and did not get an upgrade.

In nine cruises across different cruise lines, we have never received an upgrade. Oh well, maybe next time...

Any thoughts on chances of being upgraded from gty cat 11 during April vacation week? (April 18 sailing) I'm just wondering if it's unheard of during a vacation type week since it will probably be close to capacity at that point.

Just checking docs that came this week and we had 2 connecting cat. 8's upgraded to 2 connecting cat. 5's. YAHOO!

we just got upgraded from a Guaranteed 11 to a 10, and I am thrilled.....
Any upgade is pixie dust, and I was not expecting anything.

Well while I'm sure you miss the energy of the Red Sox fans, the excitement and hope of all of the college students, the diverse arts available from the Conservatory to the Boston Ballet...........................................do ya really wanna be in this deep freeze up here???? I mean we had school cancelled due to cold! How often does *that* happen?

I love it here too though. Grew up here and work in the city and although I'd love 80 degree temps I wouldn't miss the change of seasons for anything in the world.
