Ok , whats with the zip loc baggies??

We used them to hold all the itty bitty plastic character figures our DD collected on our last trip. She went nuts over those things and wanted every set she saw. But once out of the box, those things end up scattered everywhere. A quart size ziplock turned out to be just big enough to hold a set (usually) and kept all the pieces of each set from getting separated.

I use the snack size bags to pre-measure my powdered laundry detergent if I plan on doing laundry at Disney. Then I use a gallon size bag to hold my pop up laundry hamper, my smaller bags of detergent, some dryer sheets, and a snack size bag of quarters. This becomes my laundry kit.I

I do this too! If we are staying at a rental house or timeshare, I also pre-measure out dishwasher detergent (powder) to use as well.

I do this also and helps if something is spilled on the luggage during the flight and keeps the jet fuel smell out of the clothes.

I do this, but I don't remove the air. Instead, I leave them big & puffy. Since they take up more space, I know that on the way home I can remove the air & pack tighter. Then, I have room for souvenirs!

---Put a frozen washcloth in one to use later in the heat of the parks. Great cool down and clean up for kids.

We do this too and it's absolutely the BEST!!!!

We also buy a large, cheap container of baby wipes and split it into smaller portions and put in the zip locks...my kids are 12 and 15 and we still use babywipes for sticky hands, ice cream faces and icky counterservice tables.

In my park bag I carry small sunscreen, hand lotion and hand sanitizer which I put in one zip-lock in case of leaks.

before leaving home I gently ripped out coloring pages from DD5s coloring books and carefully folded a few in a sandwich size ziplock adding a few crayons to each bag, I made a dozen baggies like this and when we were waiting in line for those princess' in the tent , or at dinners...these baggies were priceless! Parents wanted to BUY them from me!! :rotfl: but I made them to share, and share we did!:dance3: I specifically put em in these baggies so theyre shareable, easy access in my backpack, dont take up much room at all and we had no prob giving a bag away to kids who didnt want to give our crayons back.;)
Very cool!!:thumbsup2

Jet fuel smell on clothes? I fly a lot and have never had my clothes smell like jet fuel...ew!

Anyway, I also use ziplocks to keep stuff for the kids organized in our carry-on bag for the plane. We put stickers and sticker books in one ziplock, books in another, small games or wind-up toys in another, etc..I just pull a bag out of the carry-on depending on what they feel like doing.

I put all our chargers, extra DVD's for the video camera, batteries, etc. in a ziplock in our suitcase, this way it's all in one spot.

I also do the outfit in a bag thing that others have mentioned. It's great! Makes getting dressed and out the door in the morning a snap. Plus it keeps you organized when you pack because you've already decided what shirt goes with what shorts, etc.

well mabey for wet clothes you just should just go with something like a target bag:rolleyes: . ziplocks you could use for almost anything. For example any snacks for on the go.:thumbsup2. iuf you wanted to use them for wet clothes you would have to get some big ziplocks:eek:
