OK...what to do now

We are getting ready for our 1st trip "home" and go to the Disney Store tonight to find out that we cant get DC discount on 5 day PHPs anymore. I know things are changing with DC. Since we are DVCers I know we can get discount on UPH passes when we check in. We really dont need anything more for upcoming trip than 4 main parks, but if we can get 5 day passes from a kind CM at VWL we will buy UPHs to get discount. Any advice on how to obtain these tickets for just amount of days needed.

You can still buy them through AAA and certain discount travel agencies. You could do the UMP also which will be more expensive in the long run if all you want is the parks.

Still new to everything DVC! Is the UPH the only pass available at check-in at the 10% discount? If so, more valuable information I've learned from these boards! Please clarify, anyone! natt

Unfortunately, Disney has decided that it is in their best interest to only offer us a 10% discount on the UPH. There are no other discounts on park passes of any kind.

Some have reported getting the DC discount in some Disney Stores, but that is a mistake and really should not be available according to our documents.

Thanks Richyams! Where I end up booking will effect which pass I get, but I won't know that until January! But now I know if I go with standard PH, that I'll get them ahead via AAA! Thanks again! natt

Most AAA offices still have 4-day adult Park Hoppers for $198, inlcuding tax and postage.
