Before going to DL, print off Tomorrowland Quest.

Go to VMK center and pick up cards for all others quests.

Complete questions for all quests, including TL one.

Return completed quests to VMK center and schedule VIP tour (this can also be done with coupon awarded for finding all Hidden Mickeys, without completing the quests)

Get tons of stuff for VMK characters.....

Is that about it?

(And every person doing a quest or going on the tour gets their own stuff, right?)

That is about it.

However, you only get tons of virtual stuff. The cards with codes only weigh a few ounces at most. :)

Anyone who does the quests and has a separate pass will get their own cards. Anyone who does the tour and completes that quest will also get there own cards (no pass verification needed).

If you have a VIP Tour Pass as soon as the park open go to VMK central and book tour then do the quests and get a card for another tour you can use next time or if you are feeling really DisneyLike pass it forward.... :goodvibes

cute you....

what is this "pass" you speak of? and Annual Pass?

and if I have a VIP tour reward nowand use it, and complete the quests, can I go on the tour again?

well you can not book the tour but someone else in your party can....but technically it is supposed to be every 90 days. I quess it would depend if you get the same TGCM or not.

Anyone know this for sure?

Thank you for the compliment! :) Off to check on your kids soon.

The "pass" is whatever you use for admission (one day, multiday, annual, etc.)

Theoretically no. But as mentioned, it depends on who signs you up for the tour and the tour guide. I have been denied going on a tour (after signing up) by the guide I had a little less than a month before. It is tough being easily recognizable.

2 per that is not fair! How many families do you know with only two people that is just crazy! Quess that means another Mule has to be made to get 2 vouchers instead of one!

That is just stupid! thanks for the update CG I need to change it in the Guide. :(

Mal

Here is the reason they changed it. Everyone who has a valid park admission can do the quests and therefore get a tour card. When they were allowing 4 people per card, families would do the quest anywhere from 2-4 times during their stay to get more cards. So in other words, they are trying to keep the same VMK players from doing the quests and tours multiple times. And unfortunately the ones who abused the system did such a good job of it, that it ruined it for those of us who just wanted to do them every 30 -60 days like it was originally set up.

I know you have posted it before but somehow I have not added locations to the guide where is VMK Central at DL?Added DL location

And anyone who has done WDW where is VMK central there?

I think I know but want to make sure before I add it to the guide.

Thanks

Mal

My VIP tour pass from finding all the Mickeys says for 4...just an FYI....read the fine print!

mine says 4 also but Califgirl goes all the time to DL and they may have changed it there...so to be on the safe side take a extra or two just in case...worse thing that could happen if you have extras is you could play them forward to someone who really needs them.

Mal

Yes, I had the voucher that someone from Dis sent me. The fine print says you can redeem a voucher every 30 days and it is good for up to four people. I was hoping to use it to take some family on the tour this weekend without all of us having to do the quests first, since the quest prizes are not really that different. The people at the VMK booth said that it is now every 90 days and not the 30 days printed on the voucher, AND it is only good for two people, NOT the 4 people printed on the voucher. I didn't argue with them, but tried to get clarification on when this went into effect. I managed to irk the tour guide who was getting ready for the next VMK tour, into a rant about how the people have abused the quests and the tours etc. etc.

So, just be warned. They will only allow 2 people per voucher and you can only do the quests, and tours every 90 days and this is retroactive to Aug. 1st. (we last did the tour on Aug 14th and therefore will not be eligible to redeem a Tour voucher or go on the tour from doing the 4 quests until Nov. 14th)

Great to know now...must create a new mule to find more Mickeys as two of our four guests are not players but want to do the tour! Off I go!

It is in the Main Street Cinema shop on the right side of Main Street between Town Square and Center Street.

I will be beyond irked if this is the case! I last did the tour on 8-15 (to get prizes to give to friends)...I am going back to DLR the end of October. I don't want to go on the tour, but I do want to be able to do the Pirate Quest. I do not live near the park, so I can't go whenever I please (or, in this case, when my "time" is up), so that is so not fair. The next time I go probably won't be until next year...and what if the Pirate Quest is not still being given at that time? And I can't believe they made these rules retroactive to 8-1. Had I known about this silly rule, I would not have taken the tour when I did.
Oh well. I still have an unused tour voucher. If they give me trouble, I am going to raise holy hell until they let me take the tour.

Don't bother raising a fuss. They were irked at me and I was being polite. Just checking things out in order to have it all ready for another day. Trust me. Expect to only be able to bring 2 people per voucher. And if you took the tour in August, they will not let you redeem the voucher until the same day in November. Now remember, this only holds true (see me getting red in the face from anger here) if you have a Disney AnnualPass. They check by ticket media. They don't want people doing multiple quests and tours during the lenght of their stay. I understand that and I would never abuse the 30 day limit, but I am feeling very unloved as a Disney AP holder right now.
