Hello all! My hubby is whisking me away for a Disneyland weekend for my birthday. We leave Seattle Friday afternoon and return Sunday evening really late. We have never gone on vacation without our daughter so this is REALLY exciting. We will be there Sat & Sunday the 17th and 18th of May.

My question...

How busy is it going to be during that time? We have never been to DL on the weekend at all. I am glad it isnt summer break but I think it will be very busy.

Any suggestions? Advice? What should the weather be like???:cutie:

May is a great time to go to DL. The crowds are usually pretty small and the weather is nice, but it can get a bit chilly at nights so take a jacket or sweatshirt.

I have never been there on a Sunday but I can tell you any Saturday that I have ever been there is very busy. Are you staying at a DL hotel or do you have early entry tickets? If so, use them on Saturday morning to get Nemo, Space Mountain and Buzz done before the park opens to everyone. After that, fastpass Indy and go on Pirates and Haunted Mansion. That's how we usually start our morning. We usually get most of the park done before 10:30am if we get early entry at 7am.

Plan for the weekend to be busy, they usually are. Get there early and see Fantasy Land first and pick up any fast passes that you will need for rides later in the day. Take a break in the afternoon and go back to the hotel for lounging by the pool and a nice drink, then go back towards the evening time for rides, fireworks and fantasmic. Have fun and enjoy your "adults only" trip! :thumbsup2
