So what are people's QDP favourites for something other than the chicken nuggets for lunch and/or dinner? We already have some interest in the hot dogs from Casey's, but an extra spanner in the works this year is that one of our party has become vegetarian!

We're staying at CBR, so will probably try the SPyglass Grill at some point, but most of our dining during that first week will be done in the park.

Are you looking for dining at all four parks? There's sooo many options.

AK: Yak & Yeti QS or Harambe Market
Epcot: Anywhere in World Showcase, I would personally try Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie

In MK and HS, you are slightly limited with food choices in my opinion. You could try PizzeRizzo in HS or Peco's Bill in MK.

Which parks do you plan to visit? And how adventurous is your family? In Epcot, we like Sunshine Seasons in the Land. Otherwise, we usually get something in the World Showcase. My kids all love the udon at the QS in Japan (I can't recall the name off the top of my head). The new margarita stand in Mexico had great empanadas when I was there last November. Does your vegetarian eat any sort of sea food (I know, not really a vegetarian - we have those in my family who will still eat sea food and those who won't)? Sunshine Seasons is a good place.

In AK and MK, we generally end up eating at the QS in Dinoland. I'm not a huge fan, but for some reason that's where we happen to be when everyone gets hungry. I did like the Harambe Market, but the menu has changed, I think. If your vegetarian party member likes curries, you might have good luck there. Same with the Satu'li Canteen in Pandora. Columbia Harbour House in MK is supposed to be great for sandwiches. I'm going to attempt a meal there in June, because I think Pecos Bill's is very average.

ETA: had the wrong restaurant for MK. It's Columbia Harbour House that I heard was good!

We'll be visiting each park at least once while we're on the dining plan. Current plans are 2 days MK, 1.5 days in HS, 1 full day at Epcot, with another split between Epcot and Typhoon Lagoon, and 1 day in AK. But those plans are liable to change when we get to our 60-day FP booking done.

Our kids aren't that adventurous, which is largely why they ended up with chicken nuggets for every meal. But it's they who are insisting on no chicken nuggets this time, so maybe they'll branch out a bit more this time around.

Just had a look at the menu for Columbia Harbour House, and that looks like it's the kind of thing I'm after. Cheers for that!

There are so many great Quick Service options, you don't have to be stuck with chicken nuggets!!

It's easy to forget, but ABC Commissary in DHS is actually QS (but it has an indoor seating area that, in my experience anyway, always has a table available). Not that the food there is spectacular, but it's certainly got a variety of filling options.

I will also endorse the Yak & Yeti QS (we also adore the regular TS Yak & Yeti as well.)

There is a ton of delicious QS in World Showcase at Epcot, and honestly, if you want to stockpile your snack credits for your Epcot day, you can make yourself a huge, filling meal with "snacks" from each country!

Speaking of snack credits- Starbucks. Is. A. Snack credit! Get your $9 venti sugary latte with all the customizations you desire for one credit every morning to put a pep in your step for the rest of the day.

Finally, we really enjoyed BOG for breakfast in MK- and breakfast is a QS credit, as opposed to dinner which is a TS credit. In addition to whatever entree you order, they bring by a cart of pastries to choose from. (And it was our daughter's birthday, so they brought her a cupcake too! 5 months later and she still talks about getting to eat a cupcake for breakfast in the Beast's castle, dressed as Belle. Incredible pixie dust!)

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons or Tangierine (may be a stretch for the kids, but they mine liked the chicken sharwarma. I highly recommend the Mediterranean Slider and Schawarma combo if you can get someone to split with you).
HS: Least appealing options, but Pizzerizzo or the new Toy Story spots.

Outside the parks there are tons of great places, especially in Disney springs. Highly recommend Wolfgang Puck Express. So many great options there.

MK- Pinocchio Village Haus- delish flatbreads, the balsamic glaze flatbread is really good. Pecos Bills- love the taco trio and toppings bar- they have a veggie rice bowl too there that would be great rounded out with the toppings.

Sorry, I have no suggestions for QS at DHS, I think the options there are kind of bleak.

Epcot-sunshine seasons, lots of fresh choices to pick from and many of the ingredients are grown inside The Land.

AK- Satulli Canteen, love the bowls there! They do have a vegetarian bowl too. So so good.

Another vote for ABC Commissary. It's a hybrid QS with A/C seating and the food is not "adventurous" but the plates are quite filling. Pretty sure there is a vegetarian offering or two but check the menu to be sure.
Catalina Eddie's serves a Cesar salad with and w/o chicken added; Rosie's serves typical park fare burgers but upgraded w/ lettuce and tomatoes; FairFaxe has a nice looking veggie salad along with Mexican-American norms. One of the nice things about these 3 places is you can all sit in the same sun umbrella-ed and tarped place after ordering from any one of them.

Epcot

You'll be hard pressed to not find a vegetarian choice at most of the QS eateries here. Pick a favorite cuisine and explore. We really enjoyed Katsuri Grill and although there are no all veggie entrees on the menu, I noted that another guest ordered one while we were there and they seemed happy enough. Oh and the setting @ Katsuri is soooo beautiful; looks like a mountain retreat.

For our family Columbia Harbour House is the best QS on property. We mostly eat TS, but we manage a CHH stop every trip.

My kids didn't eat any nuggets on our last trip and only one pizza. We ate at Columbia Harbour House, Harambe Market, Sunshine Seasons, Pizzeria Rizzo, and the Japanese QS in Epcot. They didn't order anything really adventurous...mostly just chicken but in non-nugget form.

We don't do burgers or chicken nuggets and we eat a lot of QS meals.
MK - Pecos Bill, Columbia Harbor House, sometimes Caseys
Epcot - LaCantina, Tangerine Cafe, Sunshine Seasons
HS - Backlot Express has a good caprese sandwich but there aren't many other choices in there other than burgers or nuggets, Fairfax Fare has a fajita platter and a salad that look pretty good (haven't been there since they stopped serving rotissere chicken), ABC Commissary has bbq chicken and ribs platter
AK - Flame Tree BBQ has always been our favorite, but looking forward to Satu'li Canteen this trip

While I don't eat QS more than once or twice a trip, I have never in over 30 years of going to WDW had chicken nuggets.
For MK we like Pecos Bills, for the vegetarian there is nachos. We also leave MK and go over to either Poly or GF for lunch.
For AK we like fried rice from Yak and Yeti, more than enough food for a meal and if you are on the dining plan I think it is a snack credit (we don't do the dining plan) There is also the new Harambe Market which has a number of choices.
For HS if we eat QS we eat at Backlot Express, I like the caprese sandwich, we tend to eat at the HBD lounge most of the time.
For Epcot we love anywhere in WS and I'm pretty sure every location has a vegetarian option. We love the Tangeriene Grill at Morocco they have a pretty good veggie plate too.

I'm not a vegetarian but for some reason I do tend to eat mostly veggie type meals when I eat QS, not sure why. Almost all of the QS locations have a sandwich option like a turkey or ham sandwich or good ole fashioned PB&J.

You sound like us, except with cheeseburgers. We don't have kids, but my DH is the most boring eater in the world, so we ate at places with cheeseburgers for lunch our entire trip.
