The randomness of this thing is just crazy. I called and got the code.

No, I don't have a pin. This is what I said (didn't lie). I heard about a 40% code, ***, and I was wondering if it could be used for a trip in Sept. She looks, she finds. I tell her I want dining, she says oh, let me get a different code for dining b/c that's only good for room and tickets. I say great. She books me. Sep 15-22 at POR. Keep in mind I have called and talked to someone 4 times this week with rack rate everytime. Never came out and asked for the code until the successful call. I have just been saying are there any discounts available in Sept. Get the answer no-nothing is available for fall. Just an FYI to anyone who still hasn't got the code. Still hoping for free dining as it would be cheaper for me.

Congradulations! What are you paying for POR that time fame? I had wanted to see if I could upgrade from a value to a mod & they would not let my TA do any modifications on it.. ???? I was booked at Pop & that is where I will be.. hey at $49 per night, Sept 13-16th.. I am not complaining

You know what?! That's exactly what I did. I called to inquire about a reservation for September, and while on the phone with the CM I told him that I had heard about this code, ***, and that if it is available I would love to see how much it could save me on my trip. He looked up the code, looked up the prices and told me I would save over 500. I even called back a few minutes later when I decided to change the age of my 2 (almost 3) yr old, to a 3 yr old for the Dining Plan. While on the phone with the second CM I told him about code *** and how much it saved me, and he noticed that the previous CM had given us park hopper tickets, and since I didn't need or want park hoppers he saved us even more money.

I'm paying around $79 or $80 at POR in Sept. best I can figure. 7 nights for 2A 3C 8 day non park hoppers with dining $2478. Since we just do moderate, I think free dining would be better, but I'm not complaining. It saved $457 of the website quote.

Just got off the phone with CRO and asked nicely about the discount. The gentleman I talked to said that they had just recieved a memo TODAY (late afternoon)that under NO circumstances are they to give the discount without the pin number and the penalty for doing so (as in job loss)
So darn it anyway, I missed out on it, But I did tell him to please tell the powers that be that I would like a card of my very own, please and thank you.

I've called several times this week and have approached the code question in a variety of ways. Was always told it was for select guests with pins. Of course, I'm looking for early April when there's not a discount to be had anywhere in the World.

The code is only valid for the dates listed in the thread about it.. no exceptions.

And it does appear they are clamping down on the bookings.
