ok, tell me what you like at sci-fi besides burger ands shakes

We went in February and everyone had either reubens or ribs. The general consensus was.......mmmmmm! We loved Sci-Fi!

DW had the shrimp penne, and thought is was fine. - Not great, but better than one would expect when eating at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I was not expecting to enjoy the food, but I loved the butcher tender steak with the red wine glaze. The steak was very tender and bursting with flavor. :worship:

Now if they could just get a new movie reel that lasted at least the full length of a sit down meal service...:rolleyes1

Does anyone like the chili??? I have a lunch ADR with just me and the littles. DH and teenager are doing BB that day and me and the littles are doing playhouse disney and meet and greets. I was going to eat at Pizza Planet with them they love Toy Story...but thought with me being alone with the both of them having an ADR would be better. I think they would love eating in a car.

We liked the BLT soup and loved the onion rings. My reuben was pretty good. Everyone else had burgers, and thought they were fine (not great, but tasty).

:scared1: Beware of the shrimp penne many people including me have gotten very sick after eating this! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

The chicken sandwich with smoked gouda and crispy onion straws is so good! That's all I've tried as I don't eat red meat or pork - but it was yum. Also, the spinach dip and desserts!

DSis and I ate there last month. I had a standard cheese burger, and she had a reuben, which she loved!

ok a little ot but we will be going in a few weeks. Does anyone know if you can get a shake and count it as dessert on the ddxp? TIA!

We had free dining last August, so when we went to Sci-Fi, we figured what the heck, we'll get the butcher's steak. It wasn't bad. My DS is very picky, but he ate his all up. Mine was good, but a little fatty. DH thought it was good, and so did my DD who didn't want the pizza DH ordered for her, so she ate some of his steak and DH ate some of her pizza.

I had the artichoke dip thing as an appetizer and it was just ok. Next time I would get the onion rings. They were very tasty.

MY DF got a shake as dessert last september. They weren't allowing shakes for drinks but they were for dessert.

We eat there every year. The spinach dip is very good. I love the shrimp penne pasta, but I get it with chicken because I'm allergic to shrimp. The barbecue chicken sandwich is very good, as are the ribs. The onion rings are good too. For dessert, I didn't like the apple crisp, but the cheesecake was great. It came with caramel popcorn and M&Ms sprinkled on it.

WOW, thanks everyone. I was just curious about all of the other yummy sounding things on their menu. I'm all for burgers, but some of the other stuff sounded so good. Now I'm more excited to try Sci-fi. Our dd's can't wait, this is one they wanted to try.

Other than burgers, fries and shakes? The cool car tables and funny movie clips! (We weren't ready to try anything else!)

Chicken grilled sandwich was very good. Onion rings are great too. We were on DDP and can't remember what we had for dessert, it wasn't ice cream as they have the A/C set to arctic in there! Have had a burger in the past and was always happy with it.

I could just order a mountain of their onion rings and be a happy camper!!

We have an ADR here as well and have never eaten there in the past. I always like to try for myself because not every body likes the same thing. Although alot of people advise to skip Mama Melrose we went anyway...bad idea. I don't see how anyone can go wrong with Italian food, but this place does. Should have listened. Now, I am second guessing Sci Fi. We'll probably go anyway..live and learn..I'll steer clear of the Shrimp Penne (was sick last year..don't need a repeat). Curious though....fi your meal is bad..do you complain to the servers? If not you should! In a nice way of course..they just deliver the food. But if enough people complain..maybe they will get the hint to either change the menu and tighten up ship..i.e. no stale bread, lukewarm food, etc.
