OK, so who has started...

Christmas shopping?! My goal this year is to have it all finished by Thanksgiving. Just bought, not wrapped. It seems that this shopping takes forever and I don't end up enjoying the season because I'm worried about finishing. I've also decided to scale back on gifts a bit this year. It seems to me that my kids and most of the kids I know and buy for have too much stuff.

I haven't started yet, but have started looking. Wheenever I start too early, I always end up buying more the closer I get to Christmas. I have started looking though. DD4 has always loved her little Dirt Devil Kids Vac., but wants it to "really work" so, I'm gonna buy her a small real vac.

Not me. I still have to start shopping for my sister's birthday, which is Friday. I take it one even at a time or else I get too stressed out.

I started back in May before I left Italy, I wanted to pick up some specific gifts before we moved back to the states. I am usually all shopped by Thanksgiving and then I wrap in December to get into the festive mood.

all 4 grandkids are done (K B went out of business here..got a LOT of stuff at 75% off)...we have done the 2 grown sons and girlfriends, only have the stepdaughter to do..have wrapped and hidden all hubby's gifts..only a couple odds and ends and stocking stuffers to do!

I pick up stuff as I see it. I used to say" I'll remember that and get it next time" and then forget!

I have already started! I have to, there are 7 of us just in our immediate family. Then I still have to buy for bil/sil, niece, nephew, etc.

We've just started looking. I'm like the other poster where if I buy to early I just end up buying more. But now that its September I'll be watching the sales for some of the kids key gifts (anyone finding great deals on a train table or Barbie castle please post, lol), and start working on this years scrapbooks for the grandparents and great-grandparents, and making list up for everyone else.

I'll be buying 5 day park hopper passes as Christmas gifts. The grandchildren will get something extra (clothes and a toy)
We're taking everyone to WDW for Thanksgiving week 2005.
Any feedback on how you would feel with a pass as a gift?

I have. Last year I couldn't shop much at all since DH had lost is job the week before Thanksgiving. DH is back to work since July and things seems to be going smoothly as far as the finances are concerned so this year I put forth the effort in August and have a nice little assortment of gifts already on hand. I'm expecting my Christmas bonus in mid-October, so we'll probably do a lot of shopping then.

Haven't started yet, I am a black friday shopper and what I don't get with all the deals, I hit the net, I ebay alot for Christmas, use Amazon and Toys R Us free shipping and then hit up walmart!!!

I love Christmas shopping!!! Especially since this is my FIRST year NOT in retail!!!!!
