Ok so, whats going on

so i was interviewed on oct 6 and i havent heard anything, i got the email that thanked me for interviewing, should i be concerned. I am so nervous, i check my email like 4000 times a day and some people have interviewed after me and have gotten notice. Am i just over analyzing, or like the wait means they dont want to give me an acceptance. I want this soo bad, please help me lol..This is so dreadful

Aww. I interviewed on the 3rd and haven't heard back either so you're not alone. I've gotten nothing. I didn't even get a 'thank you for interviewing' email. It really is hard not to want to check your email all day long. lol

I interviewed on the 9th and got an email today that I'm pending (as did many people on the facebook group) so you not hearing yet could be a good thing.

I've been pending since the 1st September interviewed on the 20th of august. I've grown at least 10 grey hairs, so trust me I know your wait, I also say have patience and hopefully you will hear something soon!!!!

I interviewed on August 24th, got my pending status on 9/7, and am still waiting. Deep breaths, keep yourself busy, and... stop checking your email so much

i know i really have to stop, its like i see a new message and its like OMG ITS HERE but then you look and its like spam, im not even pending, im suspended the great disney unknown, i hope i get something from them soonish

I totally know how you feel! And every time I go to my school mailbox and there's anything inside... there's this tiny little window so you can see inside, and I saw something and my heart jumped... and it was a DVD from Netflix.

No you are not. You are in the post interview stage where they are reviewing your materials. You know exactly where you are.

Disney says notification will take 3 - 4 weeks. You haven't even hit that window yet. Expecting to have something now is just putting unnecessary anxiety on yourself. Setting your expectations based on stuff that isn't coming from Disney will also cause unnecessary anxiety.

Based on your earlier post, you should know if you are pending, going to Disney, or need to make other plans between 10/20 and 10/27. If you are told that you are pending, then you may not receive a final decision until 12/10.

If you get something soon, great. But don't expect it and don't worry about it unless 10/28 arrives and you don't know of their final decision or they told you that you are pending.

Not to rub it in or anything but U found out in a week and it has been crazy just knowing that I'm going to Florida for a semester. But once you find out if you're accepted, it just begins the waiting game all over again!! No joke! I think I'd rather wait 3 weeks for an acceptance email than 2 and a half months actually go!! Haha! What is also killing me right now is having to wait to find out if my friends have made it!! Haha!! I'm so anxious/excited for them.

yeah I'll be honest with you I applied on oct 7th for a PI and the only thing that I heard was that they needed more information for my resume. I promptly gave it to them and they said they received it and I haven't heard anything since. (that was on oct 16th btw) Recently I called to see if I possibly got a denial letter and I just didn't receive the email and it turns out everything is okay they "are still considering my application" as the Disney rep said. So i guess I just have to wait for an email or something.

Quick question though. If you are going to be denied for a position then do they definitely let you know? I mean it would really stink if they were like other companies I've dealt with in the past who do not even let you know the position is filled.

People say no news is good news but the guy on the phone said they would know by December 1st who was hired and who wasn't. Considering my past experiences with internships and companies, I sort of consider myself in limbo because after this week is a holiday week so If i don't hear from them this week its not gonna happen.

Other than that all I can do is hope. The ball is on their side of the court and it seems like it has been for a while.

They definately do inform you whether you get the job or not. No news truly is good news in this case. Also, many people never get the email and the acceptance or denial letter shows up in snail mail, so be watching that too. One other thing, be sure to check your junk email box, sometimes the email gets caught in that.
