What are "A passes" and "C passes? I have read threads with people talking about these passes. Are they for all airlines? Is it just something you get with online check in?

We leave next week on Jetblue and I will be doing the online checkin for the first time. Sorry for the dumb question!

It's just a Southwest thing. They don't assign seats, but divide people into "boarding groups". Once you are on the plane, you pick whatever seat you want. A passes get on early, C's get on last.

If you aren't flying Southwest Airlines, nothing to worry about.
