OK...now what am I going to do....

Hello all.....joined the vacation club when we were on the Magic on May 16th.......did it by myself since my wife was suffering from a bad sunburn(she just does not listen).....so I signed the documents....before dinner I stopped by the vacation club desk to make sure she did not have to sign anything.....they said she is equally a member and nothing has to be done....so we received the membership card...only 1 with my name on it....and we just received the deed and my name is the only one on it....she is now freeking out about it......so what should I do now.....who should I call and will they change the deed? I guess I should have asked more questions.....but we live and learn....any suggestions would be appreciated.....

I'd start by calling your guide. I would think it wouldn't be too difficult to add her name.

They told you wrong. You can add anyone's name to a deed without their signing and being of legal age. I'd call your guide or a supervisor and ask them to redo the deed at their expense. Whether they will or not remains to be seen but in this case, i suspect they will. You can also call Member Administration who will need to be involved at some point anyway but won't fix it for you unless you pay the costs.

We were told that if you have to change the deed then you would have to sign everything over again and you would get a new member number. Of course, this involved a different set of circumstances than yours. This also was before we had closed.

Maybe there is a way that they can have her sign a few things and add her on.
