Ok, My Pictures are back - Glamour Shots

One of my friends talked me into doing Glamorshots about a year ago. I took a pic of one of the pics w/my digital camera so its grainy. I thought the makeup artist did a good job. My friend and I went out to dinner afterwards and the waiter didn't charge us for our drinks and appetizers so we must have looked decent! I would like to get them redone someday though, b/c I've lost weight since then and my face doesn't look so round anymore.

God, I am 41, and quite frankly, I don't have that many wrinkles or blemishes. I also went with the regular paper (matte), not glossy (extra $15 a sheet). I am putting it under glass, so who cares!

I think you look absolutely amazing and I hope that I look as good as you at 31!!! Man, I have a TON of grey hair and I'm only cough "late 20's" cough. Sorry, I have a cold!!
Thanks for sharing your pics. They are great and although I know I am NOT one to get their "posed" pic taken, I may do so for DH in a few years. I think that this company left the area a few years ago, but I will look into them.

gosh, i remember you on the old aol boards...that goes WAY back, loL! i am iluvwdw from those boards. Your pictures turned out great, look very natural, love the color of your hair! btw, you do not look like you're even in your 40s!

Yes, I remember you also! Wow it has been a long time since the AOL Boards! I was so glad that Peter made these boards!

Thanks everyone for your comments! I don't feel almost 42. I still feel like I am pretending to be an adult/mom/wife. Hopefully I will never feel my real age. (cross fingers/knock wood)

I would love to have my DD do something like that.

I personally wish they had a company in my area that did the old pin up girl photos. They are much more decent then any bathing suit magazine you get in the mail and I think it would be a great present for my DH.

One of the best pictures my daughter ever took were glamour shots... the make up was very very light and hair very normal... she was almost 3 at the time. I wish I had them online here to show them, they are just gorgous.

I would suggest to be careful to not let them use a brush full of other people's hair on you! That includes the make-up brushes! That is so unsanitary.
Maybe bring your own instruments, etc.? (brushes, combes, make-up brushes)
Keep things as sanitary as you can.
