Well it's finally finished and here are some pics of the finished article. Unfortunately it hasn't stopped raining since it was finished, so we haven't had much chance to get our new furniture on it

Nice deck Cath!! As you can see I went for a 'stand-alone' version, because our back garden faces East and loses the sunshine before mid-day. I had to position it where we would get the most benefit and it gets the sun from sunrise to sunset being on the South side of the house. Also, being raised, we don't get those annoying big shadows from the fencing until at least an hour later than normal!! Well pleased with it!!

By the way, it's not totally finished yet, still need to box in the underside!!

Very nice John......even better you did it all yourself!! (we got a joiner to do ours...LOL!!)

Got our furniture sorted now as we had a dry day today and Tony has spent most of the day wiring up the decking lights.....and they look really nice all lit up at night. I did try to take a pic, but couldn't get it right - everything was a bit blurred.
