Ok I'm camera "Blonde" help me with settings

Ok, so I'm "Blonde" when it comes to settings and mostly use the preset settings on my easy share, however I know it can do lots more and I'd like to experiment. We go to WDW every Friday so I'll have lots of time and I just purchased a nice tripod that I'll be taking with me.

So what settings does one use for fireworks, motion, etc. Any tips/hints/etc would be appreciated. I love taking photos and I'm trying to improve. The model I have is the Kodak Easy Share Z760.

Check the top threads for fireworks info.
Use a longer shutter speed for them
for motion if you want a blur then use the longer shutter. If you want to stop the action, use a faster/shorter shutter speed.
