Somehow I knew I'd be here today asking for help! I got the computer all hooked up (as you can plainly see! ;) ) but now I have no volume!! :earseek: The speakers are connected to the tower, they are plugged in, turned up, but I get no sound! I went into the Master Volume Control to make sure nothing had been muted...nope, I should be getting blasted right now. Anyone have any clue as to what I am missing here?

I remember a couple times, when I was having another tech issue, tech support had me open something up...there it listed everything on the computer....from the cd drivers, to the usb ports, printing hubs, volume....anyone know how to open this up? I used to do it frequently (was having problems with my printer) but I haven't needed to do it in awhile.

HELP!!!!:headache:

Device Manager - I'm quite familiar as I had a terrible time reinstalling our scanner yesterday.

Right Click on My Computer, left-click on Properties, select the Hardware tab, click Device Manager. Find Sounds and see if there is a yellow ? over your speakers.

Beyond that I am of no help, sorry. But I've bumped you back to the top. ;)

Found it! Thanks!! :bounce: There is no yellow ?, so I am assuming either the speakers are not hooked up right or something happened to them and they got broken. At least I know it's not an internal problem with the computer itself. ::yes:: Tomorrow's another day....I'll figure it out then!
