I shouldn't tell you all this - :earseek:
but you don't NEED a coupon at my Mikes -
just ask at the register and they hae you sign and add your zip code to a paper - and scan a coupon they have there -

My Michaels won't do this anymore!!! :sad2: :sad2:

neither will mine... at least they will take the competitor coupons though. :) maggie

Patty - you MUST stay on that budger or you will NEVER get into your new house with the great scrapping space.

jedi - since our's is a university library they usually just pull the ads and pitch them at the end of the week when the paper moves from the rack to the stacks. And I didn't go in until Tuesday so the librarian had ample to time to grab it first if she wanted!

Well...I know I won't be stopping at Michael's now...my car blew the fuel line (or something in that vicinity and of course I had JUST FILLED THE TANK at $2.39 a gallon!) on the way home last night. I don't even want to THINK what that bill is going to be.

The Michael's near me won't do it either, so I don't shop there as much any more. Oh well ... their loss!

OH man - sorry to hear about the car trouble - that stinks :(

As for my new scrapspace -
gggrrr :sad2: maybe thats why I am so off budget -
well it was DH's idea for me to have that space (how he convinced me to actually finish about the garage  - I thought we had enough square footage without it) but then I heard him asking someone if the trusses would hold a pool table :rolleyes1 (as I glared across the room)
Although I quess it would be a great area to work on - right -
but I will still have my original little 12x12 space in the basement worst case senerio....

Wow! You've got a really nice Michaels. That doesn't happen at my Michaels. No coupon, no discount :guilty:

Thanks Patty - I picked up the Granny's Kitchen :goodvibes My Mikes also had the Savory set as well as Softy & Aunt Gerties. How can you go wrong for $13.99 +tax???? :confused3
(Funny - the ACMoore here also carries SEI - but it's Hippie Chick, Beatnik Boy, Sunny and Serendipity.)

Party of three!!!!

Brass stencils are little Stencils used for embossing. I went to two different Michael's and they had them for $1.00 (the slow selling ones anyway)
I just embossed a card with a Pooh one... SOOOOO Cute. Doing a Mickey one tonite.
I think Crazy scraps or Scrapstop, Bargain Pack may have them on their site for you to see. They are made by Plaid. The Plaid site may also have them pictured.
Kathy

Patty, Patty, Patty.... When things get stressful, no end in site, it's a given rule, as a scrapper your right.... to buy some paper and cardstock too there's nothing like Patterns when you're feeling "Blue" :goodvibes

OMIGOSH - Tinker that is great!
I might have to lift your little poem for use in my BOM book -
toooo cute!

Well, I went, I saw, and I bought ;) Really, it was a sign - they still had the kits today. I picked up Aunt Gertie's Garden and Granny's Kitchen - love the color combos.

first of all i love the poem!!!!
i went to my michaels today and they told me they don't sell the brass stencils.:( so i will have to look them up on line. thanks for the reply. i also could not find the sei kits either. but it looked like they were out of alot of things. so maybe i'll keep looking for them.
thanks again
:wave2:

Patty.. Glad you liked the poem! Make sure to "put me in the credits" when you scrap lift!

Tell your DH that MOST Pool halls are Dark & Dank for "ambience" (thus a basement :rotfl2: )
Scraprooms should be light and airy like above a garage, natural light is always best, sheeesh he doesn't want you to need glasses on top of that already strained budget :rotfl:

You are killin me here :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
FUNNIEST is that his parents have owned the local pool hall since I was he was in middle school :rotfl2: :rotfl2: They are just selling it now so they can spend their winters in Florida :rotfl2:
AND
He already paid for me to have lasik's in Canada 3 years ago! :earboy2:
It aint over til its over - I may still get the big room with natural light -
I al pretty ok either way - as bolth have perks

PattyT I showed Marc the sets in Michaels last night. He ( we ) ended up spending $40.00 ! So he can't blame me, because he put more kits in the bag then I did. I didn't really need the SEI sets, but I got some nice KandCompany sets. If he comes back later to complain ( which he won't ) I'll just say PattyT started it. :teeth:

oh Cyndi he is such a shopper -
you are SO SO lucky!

Yes, he is. A few days ago he came in with a bag full of mono adhesive. He got it for 25 cents each. He had this grin on his face and asked..."Can you use this " ? My garage doesn't always thank him, but my scrapspace does .

Cyndi princess:

Well, I went to Mike's last night. They had no sale sign up and tons of the SEI kits. I went to the register to check, and they were 50% off. I only bought one, but what a deal!!! I would never pay $28 for it.

Thanks Patty!!!

Why today of all days am I seeing this post. I have been off from work for the past 2 days because of a severe sunburn. I am home because getting a shirt on hurts. Yet seeing this sale for the SEI kits is making me thing tha the pain may be worth saving 50% off the kits. I have one of the kits and got it with the 40% off coupon but now at 50% off. The pain, the agony, oh no, the defeat, here I go.

Paula

WOW - you all did really come down with me on this one :rotfl: :rotfl:

Now if all that paper I ordered from www.joanne.com that I ordered almost 2 weeks ago would come in I would be happy!

OH and I know my Prima flowers should be here tomorrow or Monday :teeth:
