OK - I think this qualifies as a bad day

Before I come home today I find out that I am going to have to travel to my Mother's house to jump her car. My sister left the lights on and ran the battery out. This is our date night and that will put a wrench in it. Then on the way home I find out from dw that her sore throat that wasn't strep this time (according to the doctor yesterday) is in fact strep based on the lab report. Leading to the question - didn't we just do this??? Then as I turn into our development my car dies and won't start again. I have to call a tow truck to have it hauled to the shop. I think it qualifies. :(

Oh man! That was a bad day.

Sorry you had such a bad day, One Cat. I hope your DW feels better soon.

"There's a great big beautiful tomorrow..."

Yes, that qualifies as a very bummer of a day. Hope it is better tomorrow.:D

I'm sorry. Mine wasn't so hot either.

We have a new Subaru Forester. DS puts his trumpet and backpack in the hatchback every morning on the trip to school. Today I added two packages I needed to ship. Since he isn't used to me being back there, when he finished stowing his gear he slammed the hatch. I guess I saw it coming out of the corner of my eye, because I put my hand up. My hand is all swollen and I have a lump on my head. :teeth: At least he felt terrible. Maybe I can milk it for some extra help this weekend? ;)

dw took the kids to the doctor today. They both have strep also - AGAIN. The car is fixed now - 800.00 later. But it has a brand spanking new fuel pump in it.

$800? And the kids are sick too? Ouch! Tomorrow definitely HAS to be better.

Very bad day indeed. Keep the faith - tomorrow has to better. :D

Browneyes - it's a Chevy, believe it or not. Apparantly the fuel pump comes as a unit so the price is pretty dear.

Ugh....the woes and expense of car problems. I hope everyone gets over the strep throat and feels better quickly.

Having just checked the bluebook ratings for days: good/bad, your day qualifies as "bad". According to the guide, automobile issues and the word "strep" are an unbeatable combo to create "bad".:jester:

Think you Micca. I knew it "felt" like a bad day but your analysis proves it.  :)

Yes I think that definately qualifies as a bad day!

I also vote for it being a bad day.....PD for a better day tomorrow...
