OK, I need some help...

I have 2 books and I still haven't figured out which restaurant would have some of the best steak (for my dad) and best seafood (rest of family) to enjoy at least once while we're there.

You'll get as many opinions are there are diners and restaurant choices. But, my choices would be Yachtsman Steakhouse.... most people order the filet mignon, but a more flavorful choice is the New York Strip.

Shula's in the Dolphin. They have HUGE steaks. They have also won at least two awards for being the best steakhouse in the Orlando area.

I agree, and I agree! Yachtsman also has a wonderful shrimp cocktail.
In the end, you'll proably love anywhere you choose!

have you considered jiko at AKL? the menu has 2 fish entrees, shrimp and scallops on the menu; all excellent! and they serve a delicious beef filet. just a thought! happy dining!

Try Flying Fish on the Boardwalk.

I believe that a few years back it won an award for best fish restaurant in Orlando. I eat there several times every trip. Undoubtedly the best fish restaurant at WDW.

I have read other posts on this board saying that the steaks are excellent there too, though I have never tried them myself.

I second Flying Fish. We had one confirmed beef lover and the rest seafood eaters and this restaurant really fit the bill. The seafood dishes are original, inventive and delicous. My older brother still talks about the strip steak he had here and it was 16 months ago. I love the peeky toe crabcake appetizer too! They also have some fantastic dessert choices.

I second Narcoossee's at the GF. DH's steak was PERFECT and my salmon was out of this world!!!

I've heard LeCellier has great steaks.. not sure about seafood there though. We ate at Concourse Steakhouse... I wasn't overly impressed.

My favorite places to get a steak are Le Cellier, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Chefs de France. For seafood, try Blue Zoo, Kimonos (sushi only), Narcoosee's.
