Wife is one hold with WDW Travel (10 minutes). I am on hold with cro (25 minutes). Hoping and praying one of us will land AKL consierge for second week in December when we finally get in. At least we get free long distnace with the cell phones, so we aren't paying for the long holds.

Thanks Magsmom! We've never stayed at the Poly, and can't wait. I am going to check WL if/when a room only discount comes out--just to see...but I've wanted to try the Poly forever. Can't wait to see the fireworks from our hammock on the beach.

We're staying 1 night at the Contemporary 10/22 (we're extending our stay 1 night before heading to OKW for a week). I was going to wait to book until the AP rate came out, but made ressie about a month ago. ALL of the monorail resorts were booked solid for the night. The only room available was Tower Club at $340 total for ONE night. We are doing Chef Mickey's & pin trading that night at the Contemporary, so it only makes sense to stay there since we'll be there all evening.

When I made my original ressie I was told that I was eligible for the "special rate" everyone's talking about, but never did receive an e-mail or post card. I tried to get a cheaper rate by both requesting a standard room or applying my AP rate. No rooms were available & she said that the $340 was the best rate.

I will continue to call back periodically to try & find a standard room. We're glad to be staying at the Contemporary, but very disappointed that we're paying 2x the amount we payed for 1 night on our trip in May, 2003.

We are going to try to get our $$$'s worth out of the "limited" concierge, which, from what I've read, isn't worth the extra $$. For that I sure hope that we can get a MK view, too!!

I just got through and the CM told me that their system was down ... she took down my info and said that someone would call me back if something was available for my dates with EWP.

same dates - No AP rate at Pop Century.

My CM did have to reboot but her computers worked through 2 reservations.

I made a reservation for campsites at FW for 11/11-11/15 but no AP rate available.
