just rebooked my AAA stay for December. Very nice CM, asked if I had gotten an email, said I didn't, indicated she would make sure that I'm on the email list, hopefully there is no filter. And yes, she did ask for my AAA card number. No indication for when AP rates would come out, but said to keep looking......

I also called and nothing this morning. I don't mean to sound grumpy maybe I am just lacking sleep. But i was so glad when this new post started because I was tired of reading all the Sep stuff to get to a Oct-Dec post. So if anyone else wants to talk about AAA could you please start a new thread I am gettting too confused and I am afraid I will miss a post by skipping thru. Thank you.

Sorry about the AAA threaddrift. I was just trying to figure out other options, should I not be able to get an October AP rate.

You do sound grumpy. We've had some discuss chocolates and every thing else. Having 3 measly posts on AAA was not horrible. Go get some sleep and perhaps that will help your confusion.

Just got off the phone @ 11:20 central time. Nothing new but she did say "specials" were coming out soon so check back often. Guess I will continue calling. If this goes on for many more days, I don't know how I will get anything done around here. I really feel for those of you with jobs outside the home. This must be a real nightmare for you. Oh well! Hope everyone feels better now!

But I wanted you all to know that there is a lot of talk on the original AP watch thread about perhaps a general code coming out in the Sunday paper. Of course a lot of us are hoping for AP rates, but I'll take anything at this point. Anywho, they said it would be in the travel section and that some people even get that early (like Friday night-tonight)???
Is it possible that there won't be any ap rate for Oct.? And that the best we'll get is some general code?
I just really wish this part of the trip planning was over--I was enjoying myself up till this point!

I am constantly checking the boards on my computer at work. I keep waiting for someone from IT to tell me I'm abusing an internet use policy or something!

The last time I called (Wed. am), the CM told me to watch for the Sun. paper-he said that Disney has begun a HUGE marketing campaign and more and more specials would be coming out.

Mom of five-I was also loving all of this planning stuff until lately. I'm getting tired of checking ALL THE TIME. I know the discounted rates will be worth it, and I'll be soooo thankful when I have them all set!! I think my husband is irratated by how often I'm on the computer, and I sometimes check at work (which I hope I don't get in trouble for...). I know my husband will also be very thankful when he sees how much money we'll save-as of now we have AAA rates which is just 15% off.

Once I have the hotel rates secured, then I can move on to PS!!

I get the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Tonight somewhere around 12 AM and as late as 3 AM Centeral time my Sunday addition of the travel secectin will be here! As soon as I get it I will post any new information if any here and on the original AP Thread watch page!

Hoping to add another trip in October if the discount is right. Right now I would settle for general codes as it is certainly better than nothing at this point.

Sorry this on isn't as cute as the one I posted early on the original thread!

Will let you know what the paper has to say if anything from the "Show Me State". I say Disney Show Me the Discounts! Please!
