We've gone the first week of June on both our trips and other than doing emh (or ee as it was last time) and using fastpass, we've pretty much winged it and done fine. But this year we are going July 9-15 and I'm thinking we need a more definite plan to get the most out of our days with bigger July crowds. But I am terrible at trying to figure out a schedule! It just never seems to work. Here's what I have planned:

Sunday July 9; arrival day
Arrive in Orlando around 10:00 am
Check in at Pop
Go to EPCOT
This day is pretty easy, as we plan to focus on WS. No ADR's, we just like to snack around WS. I do want to make sure we see the American Adventure show, as we've missed it on previous trips.

Monday, morning emh @ MGM
Do the usual RNR and TOT, Muppets, and Star Tours during emh.
After that, I have no idea how to plan the rest of the day. I know we want to do GMR, Indy, L,M,A stunt show, B&B and Little Mermaid.
We have an 11:00 ADR at Sci Fi. We plan to take a swim break sometime during the day. We'd like to see the parade. Should we come back to this park for the parade and Fantasmic or hop to another park and do Fantasmic on another night? :confused3

Tuesday morning emh @ MK
DD and I love Fantasyland. DH and DS love Tomorrowland. Which to do first?
We all love Splash, Big Thunder, HM, and PoTC. When and how should we plan to do these "lands"?
10:30 ADR at Crystal Palace.
Swim break sometime in the afternoon.
Return to MK? Hop elsewhere?

Wednesday morning emh @ AK
Can't wait for EE! :Pinkbounc
We also love Dinosaur, Safari, Lion King, Bug Show, and pretty much everything at this park except parade.
Thinking of doing DTD this evening.

Thursday emh @ Blizzard Beach
Stay till 2 or 3
Rest at resort.
Hit one of the parks this evening, but which one?

Friday, last park day
Spend morning at EPCOT and do Future World. Must do's are Soarin', Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, the Land, Figment, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, etc.
Break in the afternoon
Evening emh @ MK till 3:00 am!

I know what we want to do, I just can't seem to figure out the logistics.
There are four of us; two adults, two teens. We have 6 day MYW w/hopping tickets.

Anybody wanna take a crack at filling in the blanks of our itinerary? I'd appreciate any help I could get!

Epcot-If you want to do Soarin', Test Track, and Mission Space, get fastpasses early or ride them upon entry. In Epcot, those are the three rides that split the fastpasses. Unlike the other parks which have more major fp attractions, they go really fast at Epcot. You should hav no trouble with the shows.
MGM-Do either RNR ot TOT first, and get a fastpass for the other. Sometimes, if you gat a fastpass really early, the wait before you get another is really short. The shows are all fairly easy to get into, just arrive 15 minutes early. Get fastpasses for any other attractions you want to do.

Animal Kingdom-RUN through Dinoland, USA to get on EE before the crowds. Unlike at MK, there isn't a Main Street to hold back half the crowds while you get on the premier attractions with no wait. Go on again if the line permits. Get a fastpass for Dinosaur, and do Primeval Whirl if you wish. Get fastpasses as you can, and fill in shows while you wait. Most shows can be entered w/o trouble if you arrive 10-15 minutes early.

Magic Kingdom-This one is easy. Do Space Mountain once or twice and them Buzz. Head quickly to Fantasyland, and perhaps get Frontierland fastpasses. You should be able to do Fantasyland during the early show of Cinderellabration. This is because lots and lots of people will have a breakfast and mosy down Main Street with their little kids while they wait for the 9:40 Cinderellabration. Get fastpasses as you can and work your way through the park. Do what you can't finish in the night you weren't too sure about. Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for the input. Your plan sounds pretty much like what we've done in June. I don't know why but I'm really freaking out about not having a minute by minute plan for this trip but I am just not good at that kind of thing.
Thanks again...

I see you're doing the morning EMHs. I have had better luck going to the park the day AFTER it's had EMH. This is especially true at MK. I have trouble getting my family up and moving that early the whole week. My teen (17) loves to stay up late and sleep late too. But your general plan looks good. For MGM, remember that the LMA FP is on a different system than the other FP machines. You might want to collect FP for that before your lunch at Sci-Fi. I'd send one of the teens to get them if they know the park well.

Reading your reply and I'm not sure what you mean by LMA FP is on a different system. Help me understand so I know what I'm doing when using the FP. I been the LMA four different times and never noticed anything different. thanks for your help.

LMA fastpasses are not connected to the rest of the fastpass system, so you can get a fastpass for that and immediately get a fastpass for something else....and thus be holding to current fastpasses.

Another thought for MK and Fantasyland...you could chose to do that area the last night at the MK PM EMH. Last July dh and older kids did this area in the later hours of the PM EMH and they said there were no lines. You figure most little kids are long in bed. Another good time for Fantasyland is during the eving parade and fire works.
