I bought our 7 day 2 park tickets from my local AAA for $84 out the door a piece. Now we're all set to wait for the Harry Potter Land to open to have our first ever trip to Universal.:cool1: Now do I copy the back of these tickets so that if they get lost they can be replaced? Does Universal do that like Disney? TIA

yes, copy the back or write down the numbers

they can cancel out the tickets then in order to replace them.

also have your confirmation number of the order for the tickets.

Do the 7 day passes have to be activated by a certain date? I bought some 2 yr AP's and they have to be activated by August 31, maybe the 7 days are forever? When does HP open, I thought I read 2009?

An interesting thing with my AAA office, probably all. Tickets are totally refundable unless used or activated. I bought Six Flags tickets and couldn't go, changed them over to US/IOA AP's-cheerfully refunded...of course, my AP's will automatically activate themselves on Aug 31, if I don't use them before, but I could get a refund on those, too...I like to be able to purchase in advance without worries..:)

I asked the AAA representatvie to copy my tickets right there in the office. I lost WDW passes 2 different times, and since I had copies, it was a breeze to have them replaced. :cool1:

Nope they don't have to be activated by a certain time but are only good for seven consecutive days after the first time you go. I too read HP was to open in 2009 we probably won't get there b/4 then anyway plus the kids will be a little older. I was just afraid to hold out any longer when I read about the AP deal and people saying they usually don't run 2 promotions at the same time.
