I keep forgetting that I'm ancient! Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House is a 1948 film with Cary Grant & Myrna Loy. It's one of my all-time favorite comedies!

Knee walls aren't a bad thing - you can install cabinet storage all the way around the room! Perhaps put your scrap desk in the center area offset like an island - just leave enough space to fit a couple of folding tables as necessary.

By the way, Pauline will be helping to make the frozen drinks as well as finish her paper piecings.

That is still a wonderful space Patty - plenty of room to work with. I just looked and mine is all of 8 x 12! Amazing how much I have in there though!

And just when should we start planning for this road trip? Let's see I could....hmmm....uh...

Ok moving on, I am supposed to be accomplishing some things at home this morning but am feeling incredibly lazy. Think that 17 yo DS of mine would notice if I skip getting groceries this week????????

Yes it is huge. We moved in before we got married and I was able to stand in the bedroom, with the furniture, with my wedding dress on. And there was still lots of room!!!!
