June doesn't sounds as appealing to me as I originally thought. My DH has been talking about going the week of Thanksgiving. What are the crowds/weather/rain like at this time. We are looking at maybe arriving the Sunday before Thanksgiving and staying until the following Sunday. Is it usually quiet the few days before and then pick up on Thanksgiving and there after, or do the crowds pick up more in December with the decorations? Also, when do the decorations start going up? Is Thanksgiving too early to see them? Thanks everybody!!!

Crowds will pick up on Wed/Thurs. that week. So, you will have a few good days. The decorations start going up that week and are usually in full swing by the weekend after Thanksgiving. Weather is still very nice and warm, but can be unpredictable, so pack accordingly. It was cool when we were there, but warmed steadily. (I was there right after Thanksgiving.)

According to CRO at Disney, those days you picked are the busiest of the month of November. Once when were flew down on Thanksgiving Day, we were told at check-in the MK was closed to everyone because of the crowds. The next day AAK was packed, Saturday at EPCOT was crowded, but not wall-to-wall. By Sunday, it was pleasant, and Monday, great. The weather is always nice, and we try to go swimming at least once.

We visited Thanksgiving week of 2005, arrived the Saturday before and stayed until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I would describe Saturday and Sunday as normal weekend Theme park attendance. Monday and Tuesday were busy, but not bad. In my opinion, starting WEDNESDAY.. it got really busy.. and stayed that way until we left.
