We have booked 14 nights in may 2014 at Coronado Springs with free QS dining. We have only been once before; ASMu with QSDP. My husband sortd everything then but TBH we made a few mistakes.

I want to upgrade to the regular DDP, is this possible?

Also, how do I book ADRs?

I am told that online is best, and that I can book 10 days of our stay at the 180 mark, is this correct?

I think the slots open at 6am Orlando time - does this mean about 10pm the night before, UK time? (I have probably embarrassed myself with totally the wrong times there!)

Do I then book the last 4 days at the 170 mark?

Lastly, things like the TT dessert party, do I need to phone to book this as it is not on the DDP, or can it also be done online?

Thank you so so sooooo much for any help. I am feeling a bit lost at the moment, and need some hand holding! Desperate to make our last WDW trip as magical as possible, but dont want to go in to panic mode either - I want to enjoy it!

Hi Elaine

Did you book through VH or Disney UK? You should be able to call them up and upgrade your dining plan with no issues. At least I know you can do this with WDTC

Yes the 180 days is for the first 10 days of your stay on the start of the 180 day window and then on the next day (179 days out) you can book for your 11th day, the followiing day you can book for your 12th day, and so on

It's Eastern time that they work on so 5 hours behind us, but beware of our DST time change as that drops us to only 4 hours behind for a few weeks as theirs kicks in later. I'd have to check the exact date but if you post when your window starts, someone here will probably be able to tell you right off the bat :)

Online booking opens at 6 am EST and phone bookings open at 7 am EST. I recommend online to give a head start and it's usually quicker and easier and you can see the options in front of you.

Not done the dessert party so can't help with that.

2Tiggies thank you *so much!* that's a massive help :) so I'll need to be booking 5 days running I guess. That's no big deal if I can do it online :) I am worried I won't be able to get the places I'm after, but I can only try!

Peachiepie, thank you, that's a relief too! It's done at 180 too now I've read, so I can book it with the rest probably.

Oops sorry - we booked through Disney UK, and will be there 12-26 may 2014 :)
It's getting so exciting now, but I'm so nervous having this all organised by me - last time DH did all the legwork and I made vague tour plans for the parks a that felt like enough!

.

You shouldn't have a problem for May. The only big challenge is if you want Be Our Guest. I would recommend picking the harder to get reservations and putting them out at day 9 or 10 when you can do the first 10 days. Book those first as that's what you'll have the most competition for. The rest should be fine :)
