Ok getting nervous about one way travel

We booked reservations to MCO from Baltimore by booking each leg of the trip individually because we wanted to take advantage of any reduced fare to either side of the trip. This is the first time I have done this. However, I am getting nervous that since we booked a one way flight we won't be able to check in online.

Is that the case? Has anyone booked one way and been able to check in online?

Thanks for any information

I am only able to check in online for about 25% of my flights, even the ones which are not international.

It's not that great of a deal, unless you don't have preassigned seats. Just make sure that you give yourself plenty of time at the airport. And if your airline participates, you can check in for your return flight at your WDW resort.

I just checked in today with SW on one way for four of us. I have heard sometimes you can't check in online with one ways, so I was prepared, but,
fortunately it went through and we got A's.

I don't think one-way tickets are the red flag they used to be. Many airlines market themselves, as "Everything is one-way" (SWA, AirTran, JetBlue, Song to name a few)

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Try checking in online when you are able, and if you can't do it, make sure to get to the airport in plenty of time, should you be lucky enough to be 'chosen' for additional security.

Thank you all so much, I am flying Southwest, sorry should have mentioned that! Thanks again. I will be optimisticly hopeful but plan to arrive early if we need to.

Thanks so much.

I do one way tickets all the time, On line checkin has never been a problem (as of yet)

The worst that will happen is extra security screening, and if that happens, you will know it as you will need to checkin at the airport. Don't let it worry you.

I have done on line check in for Delta and American with one way tickets and never had a problem. Lots of factors at work here. Just relax and enjoy the trip.
