OK, 'fess up!

I have a bunny that is +/- 23 years old that I take everywhere I go.

Or at least, took, she's getting old, and I don't think she'll survive many more trips. So, now, when I go on vacation, my bunny goes to my grandmother, who takes good care of her ;)

Well, not a stuffed animal...

But my best friend just sent me a Travelocity gnome. He is an obsession! :rolleyes1 He is going to travel with me everywhere from this point forward (starting with Cozumel in 3 weeks).

:yay:

wow ... I thought I was the only one!

Wedgie the hedgehog has been with me since high school. I graduated in 1988, so I'll let you do the math. :) He has been to Mexico, Australia, Paris, and all over the U.S., including Disney. One time my sister overnighted him to me on a Maine schooner when he forgot to make his way into our suitcase. He is a well-traveled hedgehog!

I was going to post photos but since this is my first post here :wave2: the system won't let me.

My bear, "Flatbear" goes on all our trips! My husband has had to adjust to this, but he's used to it now. I'm not going anywear without my bear!
:goodvibes

Ok, he 'fesses. He has several stuffed Mickeys. One of which he always takes with him, when he goes on vacation. Not only to WDW and DL, but almost all the way around the world. Last year, one went to Hawaii. They have also been to Canada, the Caribbean, Europe (including DLP), Mexico, and almost all over the U.S.

This year, the one that usually goes was to large to fit in the suitcase, so the older one went. The one that dates back to the original "Mickey Mouse Club." While they have always gotten some type of attention from people, this is the first time they have ever had their picture taken by a stranger. When BIL and he were at Goofy's Kitchen at DLH for a character breakfast, someone sitting at the next table wanted to take a picture of the one, which was granted by he.

OK, I have a purple stuffed elephant named...drum roll please...Elephant! ;) I saw her at Cedar Point and just had to have her (you had to play a game where you toss a ball into an apple basket that is tilted and try to get it in). So anyways she was with us (me and ex) for our whole Ohio trip. After that she became a fast friend. She would sleep in bed with me when ex was on business trips, and when I would travel back home to visit family she would fly with me. She has been to WDW, and South Beach Miami. She even drove across the country once buckled up in my passenger seat when I was driving alone. ;) Elephant is getting a little thin in the middle (her stuffing seems to have flattened) and she is notorious for being the one at fault for little household mishaps (read...things I have done!). I.E. Elephant must have left that light on in the closet all day long, Elephant must have forgotten to put the flag up on the mail box, Elephant must have drank the last of the orange juice, etc! She has a new "dad" now but still sleeps in a basket in our bedroom, and when the bed is made she has a special spot on it. She didn't go to WDW with us this last time, but I thought about it, and decided she should stay home to "watch" the kitty.

I am surprised "FlowersChild" hasn't lurked his way over to this thread. He'd love this one....

A friend and I bought these cute turtles about 5 years ago and we both always took them on trips. I will have to dig out a pic and scan it in because this was pre-digital days (how did I survive?).

I always bring one of my dog's toys(cute little stuffed dog...not a chew toy!) with me on a trip and a picture of him, but the toy stays in the hotel room(kinda watching over things).

Firstly let it be pointed out I am a 28 year old MBA graduated business professional that is a "road warrior" ie, on the road alot.
The last trip I made to the `World in sept 2005 I brought "Captain Salty" an little white stuffed sailor dog that my great-grandmother made for me when I was a baby, so he is quite literally as old as I am. Anyways I've brought him with me on all my business trips and the housekeeping was always gave me crap about having a stuffed animal...
But when I stayed at the contemporary resort, Mousekeeping was having a field day...one time I got back they had him sitting on the edge of the bed with a remote in his paws watching the Disney Channel...
and one of the Mousekeeping CM's ran into me in the hall and complimented me on how well-behaved he was LOL
