Ok my familt and I have never been to disney and I was wondering what is the best way to see tha parks? For example when we are at MK which way around the park is the best and so on and so forth? my kids will be 6 y/o Girl and 9 y/o boy. we plan on going to MGM, AK, Epoct and MK and hopefully the water parks and maybe a bit of DTD.

Any advice on which days of the week are best for which park? We are going for 7 days.

Thanks Susie

I cannot stress the importance of what I am about to tell you enough, you must now go and purchase The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World....its sort of the bible for Disney newbies, and vets as well. It not only tells you everything about every resort and restaraunt and what to expect and feedback from others....BUT it has AWESOME plans for each of the parks....how to utilize fast pass the most effective way, which rides are busiest at what times of day....It actually has maps that are numbered and tell you where to go in what order and when to get FP's and everything else.....it can be SO HARD to do Disney the first time and get everything in and not feel overwhelmed by crowds and waits, I PROMISE YOU you will notregret buying it!! :teeth:

You could wait, its up to you...they will be adding a few attractions here and there so they might change a few things, but if you wanted to it is a great way to start planning.

I second the motion on buying "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World." In my house it is referred to as 'The Book."

I own multiple copies of the book. I read the latest copy from cover to cover prior to each visit. I photocopy the touring maps and laminate them to keep them in good shape.

Oh my!! I love that you copy and LAMINATE the maps.....you are my NEW FAVORITE PERSON!! I dont have to memorize them anymore lol!!

the UG is a must-have item... my recommendation is to check ebay or amazon for used copies of this year, read it cover to cover, and then wait 'til oct of 2005 and get the '06 edition...

other options are the wdw passporter or www.tourguidemike.com and of course, reading these boards ALOT!

happy planning... ENJOY!
