Ohio meet?

Just wondering if anyone is planning an Ohio meet?

I missed the one to the Lion King, and would love to meet y'all.

Anyone interested in the new Ghosts of the Abyss movie?

Lisa, I think I would be up for a meet. I was going to put up a feeler for the zoo meet after I returned from the Chicago meet. Honestly not sure I am all that interested in the Ghosts of the Abyss though. Oh and sorry I missed you on Wednesday... something really odd came up at home and the next thing I knew it was 8 PM

There's going to be a DISmeet at our house on Memorial Day. We have a picnic every year and invite all 40,000+ DISers to attend. Usually only about 25 show up. Thankfully.

We'll be at Cedar Point on Friday evening and all day Saturday, then to our house for an all day picnic on Sunday. If you are interested, drop me a PM and I'll send you directions to our house.

There's also RiddleCON during the weekend of August 1st. Oldkicker has about 100 DISers signed up for that event. You don't have to sign up to show up. Just come and be part of the fun.

I will have to check about Memorial Day weekend. Not sure if I have to work.

Looking at calendar not sure when I could squeeze in a meet between now and school ending - I am at the moment planning on the Cedar Point meet - haven't decided about TC's one yet - depends on school, scouts, choir, and band at the moment

Lisa if nothing else maybe Elaine, you and I plus anybody who wants to join us could get together in Columbus area. I don't think I'd care for movie but am really in need of a meet soon. It's been stressful few weeks at work for me.

I don't work weekends so any day except April 12th, May 10th & May 25th work for me. I do work weekdays so it would either have to be a Friday night or a weekend

i'm pretty open to any night or weekend afternoon i'm also hoping to be in chicago on 11th, and 12th but other than that i'm usually aval. either fri night or sat after noon or evenings. i do work some weekends but don't have schedule handy right now.

Any ideas on what dates would be good? I am in Chicago this weekend and next Saturday at 5 PM I have a bridal shower to go to (my sister's) Other than her wedding (May 10th) and a possible day trip to Toledo on the 3rd, I am free. Oh wait, that doesn't sound too open, does it?

I'm not working any Saturdays rest of April and no idea on May schedule but i'm pretty booked up except first weekend. Do don't have to meet in Columbus, it can be anywhere around these parts for me.

It's just easier (I think) to get people from out of town (even out of state) to travel to a larger city than to an out of the way small town. If people travel a long distance - it's also easier to find overnight lodging in an urban area than in the sticks.
