Ohio - last day of school?

How do I find out when the Ohio schools let out for the summer? We are heading to Cedar Point and would like to get a jump start on the summer crowds. Would the first week of June be relatively uncrowded?

It'll vary depending on school district. But typically, the crowds at CP are on the lighter side up until around Father's Day.

Like Bob said it depends on the school district, when they started the school year and if they have to make any days up cause of bad weather.

DS and DD are in two different school districts. DD started school before DS and her last day of school is 5/26. Were DS' last day of school is 6/2.

I would wait until all the schools are out in Ohio. Our band goes down every year, like one of those days after Memorial Day, and there had to be 100 busses. They like to call it Physics Days. So after the kids get their physics questions answered then they can ride. This was at Great America in Gurnee IL. I don't know if Cedar Point has this also, but you can look on their web page.

We live about a 40 minutes south of CP and my dd's last day is June 1.

June 6th here. We have found that the Friday before Memorial Day weekend is totally uncrowded. One thing to consider is that it can still be quite cold the first week of June. Also, not all of the shows start running until later in the season (if shows are important to your total Cedar Point experience).

Where I work--June 1. Where I live--June 7.
Physics Day is held at Cedar Point. The main one will probably be around May 18 (it is always a Thursday). I am saying this because I teach seniors, their last day is the 19th, but I can't give them a test the 18th because so many of them are gone!
FYI if you wait until Father's day you will be there on what has become CP's own version of "gay day". Plenty of families there as well of course, but just in case that would be a problem, again, FYI.

My friends' children in suburban Columbus, Ohio get out June 7, which is nearly two weeks later than we do in suburban Indianapolis.
