Ohio exchange someday?

You must not be to proud of Ohio, I don't "see" it listed on your "location" or profile

I tend to be somewhat of a private person, at least until I get to know people, esp. regarding cyberspace. I would never, for example, post personal photos of myself or family and I don't mean this as a slam against anyone who does. Nowadays, with so many kids being snatched, or adults for that matter, one has to be careful about the info they relay over the net. As to my "location", why would that matter, really, to anyone who reads the boards? I just don't "see" how knowing where I live is of relevance.

And, I actually am proud of Ohio, part of the heartland of America, home to many of America's agricultural community as well as manufacturing, although less so over the past couple of decades, some outstanding statesmen, one embarrassing congressman, a few inventors. Yeah, I think Ohio stacks up quite well compared to the other 49 states.

Oh, and that would be " too " proud of Ohio.

As another Ohioian, One place I see that looking at their web site that might qualify for the CC is the Great Bear Lodge in Sandusky at http://www.greatbearlodge.com . The place looks wonderful and has an indoor waterpark. Rates run from about $250 to $350 a night depending on the size of the suite. This is one place I would love to try sometime.

fkj2,
I agree about the pictures, but just listing your state, "Ohio" ,doesn't give your personal address. If you notice, about 95% of posters at least post their state.

An alternate location in West Virginia or Ohio would provide an alternative if your vacation fell through and you needed to use the points or loose them before your use year arrived.

THinkgs happen, vacation plans get changed, illness, but if you've borrowed ahead and it's close to your use year date, it is nice knowing that you could schedule some getaway weekends and put those points to use instead of loosing them or not being successful in renting them.

Chicago and North Carolina are an alternative. Great point about the Great Bear Lodge, looks fun, but pricey. But I also have a strong vote in for the Greenbrier, it is at Disney level in terms of luxury and service.

I know that Cirque Du Soleil is playing I think right now in Cleveland. Of course there is always shopping at Polaris and Easton Town Center in Columbus. Amish Country is really nice too. Ohio is a great state to vacation in. You just need to know where to look!!
