We are heading to the spring scrimmage tomorrow. We are actually going for the lacrosse game and the football game is a bonus! Of course, it is supposed to rain!

I just want to take a second and pay my respects to the family of Ohio native, Sgt. Matt Maupin. He has been MIA for 4 years. His remains arrived home today.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Maupin family.

Can I join? Born and raised in Mercer County, Ohio (grew up in St. Henry). Met my husband when we were in school in Columbus - got married in Wooster - where his Mom and step father were living. We moved away a long time ago - first to California in '86 and then here (Texas - Dallas area) in '93.

All of my family is still in Ohio - in Mercer and Darke counties.

I see a lot of OSU shirts around here and I get all excited - until I realize they mean Oklahoma state.

It really is true - you can take the girl out of the buckeye state but you can't take the buckeye out of the girl.
