Ohana's

What do you think of Ohana's? what did you think of the entertainment? Does it get old quick?

With or without kids? Without kids the singer may not be as entertaining. The entertainment is really geared towards getting the kids involved in parades, coconut races, hula lessons etc. The fun for the parents would be in watching their kids. That's not to say that someone going w/o kids wouldn't enjoy 'Ohana. If you think the entertainment may annoy you then I'd try to be seated right at the window as far from an aisle as possible.
BTW we went w/2 little ones and thought the entertainer did a great job. She seems to love what she does and the kids really liked her.

Our kids are grown and our last trip was just DH and I (same for upcoming trip) and we didn't go to Ohana for the entertainment, but for the food. We watched the kids and had a few laughs, but the entertainment was kind of a background thing for us. We love the food and the location.

We have only been to O'hana's twice. The first year we loved it and last year not so much. I think it had to do with out waiter mostly. At least he had a tag team so we did get some service. By the the time we got our dessert it was melted. We ate it anyway. We are troupers. The entertaiment isn't that great but we don't have little kids so we would probably have a different opionion if we did. We would go back though.

We have done breakfast (last month) and it was incredible, great food and the characters are a ton of fun. We also did dinner (March) and again the food was so good but it seemed louder than at breakfast.

We would do both again in a heartbeat!

We have gone with and without our kids and always enjoyed ourselves. The food has always been good. Although the service can be hit and miss. Still a wonderful experience!

Were there In july and diffnetly going to try both Breakfest and Dinner,do they still bring the food on the skwers to the tables? that look so cool . My DS Is 15yo do they try to involve the older children?, my son would diffnetly get imbarssed

As far as I am concerned the only entertainment I need is the Bread Pudding al a mode with Banana Foster sauce.

It's just DH and me and we've been twice so far with another visit for December. We love it there. The entertainment is a little cheezy but it's what you make of it. We have a blast. I love to do the hula and sing-a-long. The food is also to die for.

They do bring the meats and shrimp on skewers. I don't think that your ds would be embarassed: they won't try to involve him but he can join in if he wants

Thanks for the great and quick replys. Yes the kids are comin...but DD6 is sensitive and I worry about kids pushing and shoving during the race.

We have done breakfast a couple of times and agree with this person. Plan on going there again in March. We never ate dinner there but plan on doing so this March.
