Ohana's timing

My parents are flying in from NJ arriving at 9:44 am. I was hoping to book an 11:00 Ohana breakfast with the characters. Do you think they will make it there in time? They are renting a care from the airport. It says on the app that breakfast runs until 12. Is that when it closes? or when they stop reservations?

Yeah that's when 'Ohana stops serving breakfast, they don't open again until later on for dinner.

But FWIW I would never in life book an ADR that early on an arrival day tbqh. You just never know with flight delays, traffic, etc. That's playing with fire.

Landing at 9:44
About 20 minutes to get their bags, provided they get out when they are supposed to.
Another 20 minutes at the rental counter, provided there's no line.
Another 30 minutes to drive to The Poly, provided there's no traffic.

They MIGHT be able to get there just before 11:00, provided that there aren't any hiccups along the way. But if one thing goes wrong, they won't make it.

We once sat on the plane at MCO for over a half hour due to a malfunctioning jetway. Nothing like being tantalizingly there but with no chance of getting to where we really wanted to be anytime soon.

I agree it's essential to make an ADR much later than you think necessary on arrival day.

Even if nothing goes wrong whatsoever, I doubt they would make it. Car pickup at MCO can be dodgy. I’ve waited over an hour before just to get to the front counter. Would definitely recommend picking another day unless they can skip the rental car
