Hi: At ohanas if you want a seat near the window can you request it with your reservation, or do you get where they put you.

You're welcome to request it when you check in - but remember that tons of other people request it, too, so they may or may not be able to do it for you. I would arrive a bit early for your reservation and just be prepared to wait =)

We were seated at 2 window seats 2 weeks ago without even asking. Unfortunately they didn't dim the lights or play the music for Wishes. They said they had a new sound system installed and it hasn't worked right ever since.

The window seats at O'Hanas are spectacular. Many of the windows look towards the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Castle. When I ate at O'Hanas in September, I did not have a window seat. I could, however, still see the Castle and the electric water parade. It was really neat.

O'Hanas has a terrific dining room and I really like the atmosphere of the whole place. Curiously, the Unofficial Guide gives it a low rating for ambiance. I really don't understand how they can justify that.

Depending when you show up, you may have to wait a lot longer than you normally would. Since all the ADR's are being taken up recently, the chances of getting a window seat may be declining a little.
